They've been sitting on my delivery for 2 weeks, tracking says it will be delivered each night. It isnt. Took an hour to get someone on the phone to find out why usps isnt doing it's job. They still don't know why the package has not been delivered.

401 bad reviews and counting...Does someone actually work here or do they just show up? This Bedford Park, IL USPS distribution center is inefficient and cannot handle the amount of mail to and from Illinois. Mail sent to and from here is lost and delayed. Wonder why your Chicago mail is delayed or lost? Here is the root of the problem and no one can seem to fix it! They received my envelope on 7/23 from Chicago (7/21); it didn't leave Bedford until 7/27....4 days for a certified letter ($13.00)arrived at destination on 8/1....Here lies the problem- the Bedford Distribution facility. Pay extra for commercial carrier..carrier pigeon or pony express would be better.

Sick of Bedford Park Distribution Center. Rerouted prior packages to CALIFORNIA, consistently delaying regular mail, and NO working store phone every time I call. Don't expect email help either. Not eligible for service requests until a full week of delays have gone by, and by then who knows where your stuff is.

**Extremely Unprofessional and Disrespectful Treatment Toward Truck Drivers**
This is hands down the worst USPS facility I’ve ever delivered to as a truck driver. The staff here are completely unprofessional, unorganized, and show zero respect for a driver’s time — which is critical when you’re working under DOT hours.
Upon arrival, I was given a door assignment and walked inside to hand my paperwork to a young lady, thinking the process would move quickly. An entire hour passed with no progress, so I went back in to ask what was going on. She was polite and tried to help, eventually getting a forklift driver to assist. He told me the boxes needed to go to the other end of the warehouse, so they called for help to relocate me.
After more unnecessary waiting, someone finally assigned me a new door. But as I was backing in, a spotter in the yard — who barely speaks English and was incredibly rude — stopped me. I explained my frustration, that I was running low on DOT time and just wanted to get unloaded. He showed no concern at all and told me he “didn’t care” if I got unloaded or not.
That kind of attitude is completely unacceptable, especially from the older gentleman who is supposed to be helping manage the yard. His behavior was disrespectful, aggressive, and made an already stressful situation worse.
This place needs serious management attention. The lack of communication, professionalism, and basic human decency toward drivers is appalling. We’re just trying to do our jobs and keep things moving — but places like this make it harder for everyone.

Just close this place down, everything gets lost here and no scans for days. They don’t care probably opening packages to see what’s in them then re-sealing. Todays world

I'm here at the United States Post Office. It's supposed to open at 8:00 AM, and it's already 8:15. 😤 What is going on here, seriously? With all the bad reviews already, this just adds to the frustration. Terrible service and attitude. People are walking away one by one every minute. Unbelievable. 👎📉

Somehow they manage to lose/delay every single one of my packages even after I pay for expedited shipping. This is ridiculous.

I truly dislike when I have a package that goes through this facility being delivered!! Over 95% of the time my package does not arrive until 2 days at the minimum past the expected delivery date!! I only have this problem with the Bedford Illinois Facility!!

I had a package that I shipped arrive in Puerto Rico before a package of mine even LEFT this post office. It took about 5 days to get a package to Puerto Rico, and, as of the time I’m typing this, it’s been 5 days of my package just sitting in Bedford Park. I still haven’t received it, so it may even be lost. Overall, phenomenal job to everyone at the Bedford Park distribution center!
