“This is my first time having to pay for a washer and dryer in a long time ( im a truck driver and the terminal i work from has free wash and dry) and i was surprised by the prices. I just went ahead and paid for it since it was no other places near.
The place is as clean as it can be for it being a 24hr open facility so i wasn’t expecting it to be spotless but it was cleaner than expected, but as long as the actual washers and dryers are doing their job and aren’t filthy it doesn’t bother me
Plenty of washers and dryers available (only seen one out of order dryer out of 32 available)
Washers and dryers are QUICK but they are actually through. Most places i sit for about 4hrs waiting for the washer and dryer to finish , but i was in and out of here within 2.

$22.50 In Total and about an hr and a half of my time TOTALLY WORTH compared to other places
I’d gladly pay to come here opposed to the free one at the job just due to how fast and clean/dry everything got

Prices are super reasonable, they take drop offs every day until 9pm and everything comes back so nicely folded and wrinkle free. The owner/guy working the counter is also really pleasant.”

“This place is great. I have had many interactions with different people here. I used to go around to the side of the building and eat my slurpees on the chairs with my friends. One time I saw a nice old lady out there struggling to open a pickle jar and I felt bad. I also talked with a middle aged man about his trauma regarding his late wife, which was sad. This Laundromat has been a definitive location that contributed immensely towards my personal growth. Throughout all the highs and lows, Joan's Family Pride has been there. Overall, this laundromat should be serving Norwood Park, NOT laundry world.”

“I really like washing my clothes here . It’s very clean and the young lady Karla is super nice and very helpful. She has great customer service. I would definitely recommend this laundry mat to my friends. I the hours open are the best. I went to wash today Dec31-25 at 3:42. sorry to say when I came in I almost fell on a dam towel on the floor. All the dryers were taken . I asked the lady that works here . if she take on the clothes so I can dry my clothes. Sadly so say ?. There were two ladies that had clothes in the dryer and took some out and left the other dryers with clothes. I work and I am tired I went to go in and out. You should have sign everywhere if you leave and your clothes are in the dryer and they are finish you have to take them out. I will not be back . The lady in the service desk is not nice . Well two ladies came in after 20 minutes to take out their clothes.”
“I needed a fully-sequined jumpsuit altered for a performance, and brought it to Anisa along with a long mesh duster. Procrastinator that I am, I brought it in a week before I needed it. It was done on time, and looks beautiful! You can't tell either has been altered, and they look perfect. I will definitely be back!”

I brought them a pair of outdoor cushions that needed ties sewn on and they got them done quickly and economically--and even chose a matching color palette although I'd told them the ties wouldn't show and the color didn't matter.
