“We took our furry babies they are great a bit pricey but it’s all worth it at the end. We now know because we decided to do the shots for a lower price and took our puppies to the Cicero dog pound at first and our puppy had a bad allergic reaction to one of the shots. We tried calling and no answer and when we did they had no idea what we had to do to help our puppy that was having trouble breathing. We rushed our puppies to VCG where they saved our puppy. Never again will we risk our babies. We rather take our babies to a real Vet Dr than to take them to the Cicero dog pound where they have auxiliary Officers conduct shots without knowing what they are doing.”

“Our vet is closed on Wednesdays and we had an emergency with our puppy of course on a Wednesday. I called North Center in a panic to see if they would help us out. Dawn was so incredibly kind. She let me have my panic attack (and cry on the phone with her), she empathized with the situation, and then she got us right in. The entire experience, from start to finish, was excellent. I'm seriously considering switching vets to them for this reason.”

She heard out all of my concerns and agreed to start with the least intervention possible and fully discussed more aggressive options going forward for my elderly cat's behavior issues related to living with our toddler. “I went a few weeks ago to the vet with my cat Harvey, cuz he was suffering from a worm infection. When I got there I was very pleased with the clinic, very clean and organized and the front desk people were so nice. When it was our turn to see the vet, one of the nurses Mikey was very friendly and very gentle with Harvey and answered all my questions, very nice guy. Overall I was satisfied with the vet and the clinic staff very professional and well kept clinic.”

Midwest Bird and Exotic Animal Hospital went above and beyond in providing care for my one of my sick frogs recently. Not only were the front desk and vets extremely friendly but addressed all concerns and created a comprehensive treatment plan including trainings for what to do once we got home. We have now made this our new primary vet, not just for the emergency we recently had! Highly recommend!”

“I’ve been going to BLVD Logan Square for a few years now with both my cat and my dog and I absolutely adore them! Both my pets don’t like the vet. The vets there are incredibly understanding and really take so much time and effort to make sure both you AND your pet are calm. If you told me the vets there take therapy classes, I’d believe it.I have never felt rushed or like my pet’s health was compromised. My vet, Dr. Sapato, even took time to research into the food I am feeding my cat to see how it might impact his digestive issues and what the brand’s manufacturing process is. I have never had a vet do that before- it means a lot to me!When I first started bringing my cat there, I was nervous because he was a verified A-hole. The vet reassured me that her cat too was kind of a jerk and so she knew my worries and knew how she could help him be calm at the vet. Whatever she does works because he actually leaves calmer and less stressed than when we go in! He lets her hold him too- and he only lets me do that usually.My dog has issues with men, so I appreciate the number of female staff members here too and no one seems to be judgmental about that! He needed to have a TPLO surgery and the orthopedic surgeon was a man, but he was also so understanding of my dog’s fears and so kind in how he treated my dog.Lastly, they are VERY understanding of budget constraints. They make sure you understand pricing, and give options if you’re struggling with money. They are also so kind and up front about other lower cost places you can go if their prices are ever higher. I never feel pressured to spent more than I can, and also never feel like my pets health is compromised when I have a strict budget.Basically, as long as I’m in the area, I’m coming here!”

In the past several months, it has continued to grow and has become infected twice, the second time the infection did not clear w antibiotics, so I came here for a second opinion after my usual vet had told me twice that there was not much I can do bc of age/risk/etc.Anywho, this doctor saw us. He checked the lump and then went through in depth what my options were and answered my questions. He gave me a quote on the surgery, assessed my cats overall health, and overall gave me hope for my little kitty to at least have some value of life added back.”
