“Was able to get my cat in right away in an emergency situation, and they were willing and able to deal with a very frightened semi feral cat. Tailored her care plan for her situation (cat allows limited touching, can not be pilled, etc). Followed up promptly afterward with test results, and worked with me to find a plan for a less stressful return visit.”

The quality of care, affordability, and transparency are a cut above the rest. This isn't a corporate vet, this is a warm, family run business. I have had fantastic experiences with Dr. Paul and Dr. Elizabeth. All the vet techs and receptionist are kind, friendly and willing to answer any questions they can. The veterinary work Dr. Paul specifically has done has visibly and dramatically improved the lives of my pets. I could not recommend a vet more.”
“Most vet offices are run by private equity and you can tell. BLVD is completely different. They treat your pet as if it were their own. The doctors and technicians are so helpful and thoughtful.

“I can’t say enough good things about Ukrainian Village Vet. They completely solved my golden retriever’s ear problems and allergies after we had been struggling for a while. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and you can tell they genuinely care about both pets and owners.

Midwest Bird and Exotic Animal Hospital went above and beyond in providing care for my one of my sick frogs recently. Not only were the front desk and vets extremely friendly but addressed all concerns and created a comprehensive treatment plan including trainings for what to do once we got home. We have now made this our new primary vet, not just for the emergency we recently had! Highly recommend!”
“I took my almost 12-year-old Siamese kitty to Animal House yesterday for a checkup. I'm embarrassed to admit that he had not been to a vet since 2018 - 6 years ago! I had previously taken my pets to Blum in Lakeview, where I lived until the fall of 2018, and just hadn't gotten around to finding a new vet in Lincoln Square before COVID hit, which caused many clinics (including Animal House, I think) to limit their services to only emergency cases for a while. Anyway, I appreciated that the staff at Animal House were not judgmental at all towards me when I contacted them to establish care for my cat after 6 years. Both during the appointment booking, and the appointment itself, all the staff I encountered were kind and professional. They mentioned what kind of tests they thought he should have but checked with me before running them, which is more than I can say for some money-hungry clinics I've been to in the past who do a whole lot of tests without telling you and you don't find out until you get the bill. The clinic was clean and not nearly as noisy as many vet clinics are. I also appreciated the Feliway-sprayed towels Animal House offers to help calm your pets while they're there. I'm pleased with the service Tino and I received and will return to Animal House again to establish care for my other kitty.”

“If you are looking for a vet that truly cares and will help out instead of trying to squeeze out your money, then look no more. Woodlawn has been a breath of fresh air in a city that most of the veterinarian offices are trying to maximize their profits at the people's expense. Our dog had been struggling with some elevated bio markers, we took her to the typical corporate vet office and regretted ever stepping foot near them. After a while and doing research, we found Woodlawn animal hospital and from the minute I called, it felt human, I could tell they care about my dog and how we were truly worried. We took our dog in and they took excellent care of her, the follow up treatment was great and I always get the feeling of community. Our dog is doing great and will continue to take her to Woodlawn animal hospital for veterinarian needs.”

Also, I think they do a good job at explaining costs and options in a way that informs good decisions. “Dr Vite and his staff are wonderful. Very happy I found them. My cat was limping after looking at his paws he knew exactly what it was. Its called Pillow Foot, an autoimmune disease. He brought out a text book and showed me and explained the condition. My boy is doing better and I'am weaning him off the medication.”

“It’s been 6 weeks after my dogs eye removal surgery for glaucoma. We went in for initial visit and got a quote for the surgery and it wasn’t the right amount written on paper when the day for the removal had arrived. Dr. Perez disappointed that their assistant didn’t give us the correct quote but still honored the price given to us and did her surgery. During the visit he saw her skin wasn’t healthy and diagnosed her with a-topical dermatitis and prescribed her medications for it along with her after surgery care medications. My dog is now thriving with healthy coat and I’m so happy and grateful with what Dr. Perez has done for our dog ❤️”
