“I had a Saturday early afternoon appointment for my 2013 VW GLI and they clearly had a lot of cars to do. Consistently updated me and apologized for the wait - though I was fine - I appreciated the consideration! I’m not sure if it was due to the delay or what but they went well above and beyond my expectations. My car is gorgeous! My car had spent a bit too long between washes and under Oak Park trees and birds, and the interior, that’s a whole other story. They took care of all of it! Had a pretty ugly rear quarter scuff they waxed out. All way more than I could have asked for. Will continue to recommend because these guys do an excellent job and really care about how the car leaves vs what they are obligated to do. Can’t say enough great things about them!”

“I take all 4 of my cars here and won’t take them anywhere else. Waiting room is spotless and the shop is as well. Dimitri is so honest and never tries to push anything I don’t need like a dealer typically does. Prices are very reasonable as well unlike a dealer. All 4 are higher end vehicles that are higher maintenance and pricey repairs which, definitely add up over time. I know whatever he’s suggesting is something my car needs and trust him completely. My car comes back clean just as it was given. So professional, knowledgeable, and hard working. Will never go anywhere else.”

“This was my first time there and everything went without a hitch. It was busy and there were two lines open. The attendance did a great job at controlling the lanes so no one had a longer wait time than anybody else. My attendant was very personable as well. I'll give it another try when my car just needs an exterior wash. They do not offer interior washes, but they have free vacuums, Etc if you want to do it yourself.”

“Great car wash. I love the double vacuums for each car so I don't have to wait for anyone to finish so I can do one side of my car. I also left my wallet there when I was using the mat scrubber and the manager tracked me down on Facebook so he could let me know he had found it! All the cash was still in there and I'm so grateful to these people with such high integrity for returning my wallet to me! These people DEFINITELY deserve your business.”

“My Audi Q7 had a crazy list of recommended repairs from the dealership service center so I brought it to Gearhead for a 2nd opinion. On a Friday afternoon, the owner (i think) of the shop did a quick review and gave me all kinds of advice on which repairs were necessary and which were not. I mentioned that I was interested in getting rid of the car and he also advised which repairs were necessary before trading in, where to do the trade in and which cars to consider replacing it with. All of this was super informal and FREE. I am so appreciative for their advice and expertise, I will for sure be back with my new car!”

“I was looking to get my car professionally cleaned so that I could bring my baby daughter home from the hospital. I did a request a quote and Phil ended up responding with the best price. My only concern was that he was located in Schaumberg and I was in the Jefferson Park neighborhood of the city. In the end I decided to make the drive out and was so glad that I did. First of all, he's a super friendly guy and recommended waiting the service out at his Mom's restaurant, which was also really good (and probably needs its own separate review). I was hoping to be able to get my air filters replaced after he cleaned the engine bay area (2 years of living on a street under construction had definitely done a number on the engine compartment) and though he doesn't do mechanical work, he was able to have the mechanic next door come over to take a look, order the part and install it while I was at the restaurant. He made it so easy to get it all done. I would definitely use him again for the next time that my vehicle needs a deeper clean.”

“Lots of adventures and car rides with my family and dog caused lots of dog hair and just dirtiness from weather, snow, leaves, etc. I’ve tried vacuuming and cleaning my car at home at other car washes but was never able to get everything. “Love this place! Can't get this much service for 5 bucks anywhere. They presoak your car with a hose than after the automatic soft wash they hand dry! They do a great job getting the car clean. Tip the towel dry guys, they work hard. If you go down the road to squeaky gs you will pay 5 bucks for auto wash and have soap running down your windows with no hand dry and scratches from the brissels!”
