Walgreens is a conveniently located store just off Main and Center Streets in Bloomington with plenty of parking. It is a great store for refilling prescriptions and shopping for health and beauty products, over the counter medicine, snacks, drinks, some dairy, gift and greeting cards, and household cleaning products. It offers lots of options for a quick trip without a big box store. The pharmacy staff has always been incredibly kind, helpful, patient, and pleasant. They do the best they can under stressful circumstances and handle a lot of difficult customers. While there can be long wait times to get medications filled, especially during busy periods, the staff is always rushing but never makes customers feel rushed. This specific location is noted as better run than others in the area, with efficient service that can fill prescriptions quickly. The store provides great customer service and the staff is always so kind.

The pharmacy here is chronically understaffed and struggles to bill correctly. Now I'm sitting on hold for 30+ minutes to get this corrected. Perhaps Walgreens needs to pay their pharmacy staff more to attract and retain employees, because the current situation is unacceptable.

Really appreciate the pharmacy peeps here! They are understaffed, yes. I’ve seen and heard how they work together and help each other to get prescriptions out. I hope they get recognized for this.
