“Stopped in before our Halfway to halloween event at the haunted prison... as a collector this shop has a nice range of quality merchandise for all sorts of preferences... was alot bigger than I expected when I walked inside... definitely will be back to support this shop when I am back in the area in june”

“A charming and well organized book store with an overwhelmingly large romance novel selection. The staff members I spoke with were friendly and knowledgeable. An awesome place you can get lost in for hours; and it is impossible to leave without at least 3 cheap books you can't wait to dive into. No evening hours at all, so be sure to stop by on the weekend if your work schedule doesn't click with their availability. Highly recommended”

“This is so much more than a bookstore! Prairie Path really is a readers dream small store. They have a great selection of books but also beautiful cards, gifts and bookplates. Candles and stickers and fancy candies also. The cookbook selection is great but i loved that they had so many classics mixed in with new books. It is a place you should check out. They also will gift wrap your book for free”

“Parking nearby was difficult to find (street and lot parking available only). The line for checking out stayed pretty long but customer service seemed efficient and attentive. Quiet bookstore with a large section for kids and YA. The help desk is in the middle of the store which was convenient. The usual selection of personal & gift items fills the back walls/ area, along with marked down merch. I was surprised to see a whole aisle of bags for sale (ex: Baggalini brand travel purses alongside trendy totes and magazine bags), with travel items too. There is a whole section of coffee & wine mugs/ cups/ thermos, etc. Some tables featured eye catching displays of books centered on a theme which was enjoyable to browse, but there were not very many chairs & tables available for customers to use while perusing books in the store.”

“A full-service shop with supplies fabrics and sewing machines of all kinds. I drove my wife up from Peoria so she could train on her new Pfaff sewing and embroidery machine. Diane there is a fantastic teacher very patient and knowledgeable about machines, embroidery including all of the computerization that can be done to do beautiful and complex sewing quilting and embroidery projects. A beautiful store and lots of areas for practice training and demonstrations of sewing arts and these modern machines. Married for over 46 years my wife has had me in A LOT of sewing and fabric shops and this is that best one ever. Amazing place and crew there.”

“I found half a dozen interesting books at very reasonable prices. This is a business, not a charity...they buy used books and resell them. Most are in like-new condition. I am currently reading Burma Road, a narrative of travel in 1940 when China depended on the road and a rickety railroad from Hanoi for vital munitions and supplies to resist the Japanese invasion. They also have more contemporary books, CDs and games on many subjects, although technology was relatively weak.”

“The books are so cute! My niece loves Sesame Street and putting her name into the story and seeing her picture has gotten her so much more interested in reading and books. It is a little expensive for what it is but I think it's fine. I had a problem with shipping that was USPS's fault and they quickly resent the books. Would recommend for their customer service.”

“When my son Joshua was receiving his first Holy Communion I needed to get a very special rosary beads for him and a prayer book . I ordered eveything over the phone with Sue and she was absolutely amazing and helped me pick the perfect items. In addition she also included in my order, completely free of charge, the most beautiful little wooden box/chest medal and rosary holder with a bible inscription from the book of Joshua. Everything arrived safely and was packaged beautifully. Sue will go above and beyond the call of duty to get the exact item one describes and if she does not have it in stock she will order it for you immediately. This is definitely the place to visit when you need that most unusual item. Quite frankly if I could give a 6 Star review I would do so with pleasure!!!”

“We have used this Party City for years, but had an especially good experience on Wednesday. I was picking up balloons for my son's birthday and one of the balloons was a little deflated. The 2 gentlemen working noticed the balloon (I had not) and immediately offered to refill it and also gave me a replacement balloon in case the one that I had purchased did not last. They were so kind and worked quickly to resolve a problem I had not noted myself. They were right though because the balloon did not last and the backup was perfect.”
