“This is my second time ordering from Whittingham. I live down in St. Petersburg, Florida and love tenderloin tails, which are difficult to find locally. The tails I receive from Whittingham are absolutely delicious while the price is remarkable and very fair. The customer service people are the best in the business. Polite, helpful and cheerful!!! Dang! You don't get to type that everyday. Just received a new box and it made me hungry unpacking it!!!! I highly recommend this family owned business. They are the best.”
“I ordered a whole white fish for stuffing and asked that the guys remove the bones. And this was done to perfection - nary a bone in the finished baked fish that was just so fresh and delicious. While in to pick up the pre-ordered fish, I spied crab cakes in the display. I rather offended the guys by asking if they were good. My company are a fussy lot but everthing I've had from Carnivore has been super, so I took three 1/4 pound cakes. And they were literally AMAZING. Scant filler, all crab, subtley seasoned. With just a little browning in olive oil and warming through at 350F for 15 minutes, served on mixed greens, this was a perfect starter for the meal. Thank you, Carnivore, for delivering - again!”
“Cool place. They serve cold and hot food for lunch. Have a deli and cut meats. There is a frozen section also. The prices are kind of steep, but it is Hinsdale. Hopefully the stuff I got will be good. I'm sure I'd go back here again.”
“Stopped by this facility on accident, and they were closing I returned the next day, and it was a very wonderful experience to buy meats that do not have chemicals on them, very fresh, especially their chicken wings made me remember the taste and freshness that I was used to eating a long time ago.No food colorings or dyes in the meat, prices are fantastic and well worth the trip I made. Had not seen hand stuffed mississippi sausages in ages, until I stopped there, they have chicken and pork, I love chicken and it's on point.This store represents quality and professional customer service etiquette and it's finest. They have excellent meat package deals also. Besides you can buy your sandwich meat and they will prepare whatever sandwich you want. I'm ole school and these young people represent young school combined with ole school values. I highly recommend this high quality meat store because you will not be disappointed.”

“I came in for a leg of lamb for Easter.Everyone was so pleasant and helpful. The price was the best by far. I saw they also had lamb shoulder so I went with that. It was frozen and when I defrosted it overnight in my fridge and it thawed out, it looked great and had no smell to it - so it was fresh. We had the lamb as part of our dinner tonight and everyone loved it.I can understand what some have mentioned about the smell however, that's been the case for any butcher shop I've been to... unfortunately it seems to be in the air.The produce looked okay, not the greatest but I came in for something else.While checking out with my purchases, the staff were curteous and kind. Overall my experience was great.”

“Your allowed to grab your own carnitas there typically a line for them on the weekends. I recommend supporting your local grocery stores and there foods like the cooked carnitas here. Very reasonble on price per pound we spent about 16 bucks for 2.lbs. we will be back because the carnitas here were well seasoned and cooked.”

“I frequent Randy's at least once a month. I have never been disappointed. From steaks to corned beef, ribs, ground beef, and bakery goods . Their tuna salad is delicious as well. The butcher is extremely helpful and will special order items if needed. I have read in other reviews that they give him 1 star because of the ladies that work there, I've personally never had a problem but it's a meat market not a meet and greet!”
“The meat is very fresh, what I like the most is the jerky they make, it has a very good flavor similar to that from Mexico, since I started buying the meat there my family does not want to go anywhere else and I recommend that you visit them at the end of the week so they can try the menudo and the carnitas they prepare.”

Everyone there is extremely nice…from the carnicero, to the lady stocking the shelves, to the cashier. It’s a small family business but you can tell they care. “I stopped in here for the greatest hotdogs in the country, these do not disappoint. The only disappointing thing about them is how gosh darn expensive they are, 16 hotdogs for about 30 bucks. The steaks in the burgers are OK nothing to rave about I was just here for the hotdogs. I will come back again just for the dogs, I think you can find better steaks and burgers at your local grocery store.”

“This place is a hidden gem its a store l, but in the back u have a restaurant. If you love Menudo or posole. Tacos are delicious too and they have carnitas.. and i had shots of tequila too!!”
