About Jubilee College State Park
Jubilee College State Historic Site preserves the remnants of a school founded in 1839. The grounds are open to the public and offer various recreational activities such as hiking, camping, picnicking, horseback riding, and astronomy. The park provides a classic state park experience with well-maintained trails, picnic areas, and campsites. While the campground has only 30-amp electrical sites, it is generally well-regarded by visitors. The park is dog-friendly and includes playgrounds, making it a suitable destination for families. However, hikers should be aware that the trail system can be confusing, with some trails no longer maintained. Overall, Jubilee College State Park offers a scenic and peaceful outdoor experience for visitors.
Love this park - it’s come a long way . They are actively managing their prairie & natural areas . Removal of invasive species needs to take priority. Great hiking spot & multi use
