Donovan Park is a picturesque oasis in the heart of Peoria, offering visitors a tranquil escape from the city. With its wide open fields, tall trees, and serene ponds, the park provides a beautiful natural backdrop for various activities. Whether you're looking to go for a leisurely stroll, have a picnic with friends and family, or capture stunning photographs, Donovan Park is a versatile and welcoming space. The park is dog-friendly, with on-leash access and poopy bag stations available. Visitors can also enjoy the on-site observatory and fishing opportunities. While some have expressed concerns about recent changes to the park's landscaping, Donovan Park remains a well-kept public space that offers a refreshing nature experience in the middle of the urban environment.
I allways love nature, even it is cold and snowy outside, just love the out doors.

A nice place for a picnic and a walk or a run. It's scenic and tranquil. The observatory is a pretty cool experience, and there are ponds for fishing, too. Overall, s great place to spend some time outdoors alone or with friends and family.
