“We go to this Home Depot quite often, it's not even the closest one to our home but we always go back because we've never had a bad experience! This Home Depot is very clean, always well stocked, and I've never had a problem getting help or finding an associate when I need one. The entire store had hand sanitizer stations and all associates were wearing masks. They have a large parking lot, tons of stalls for online/curbside pick up, and many carts and dollies available right when you get out of your car. Keep it up! Love to have high-quality locations like this one so close by.”

“I've been going here for about 40 years, on my regular rotation of hardware stores of which there only 2.I really appreciate that there's always someone to assist with some crazy me project.It is terrific to go and buy 3 screws or a single wedge to fix a nuts thing that needs fixin.Smells exactly how a hardware store should with a bunch of people that know their s$$t.Fix windows, screens and pretty sure they offer a pick-up/repair service for small equipment....plan ahead.I always treat myself to a Danish or Coffee Cake from Kirschbaums (next door) if I'm early enough.”

“Staff is very friendly and helpful. They are very knowledgeable as well. The only issue I have is the wood cutting. Had to return a few pieces of plywood and get them recut. Also, the cuts were not great as it looks like the blade they used is not in the best shape. I would definitely come here again but I don't think I'll be paying for wood cutting here in the future.”

“I highly recommend Carousel Flowers ! I called their shop this morning and explained that I was looking to send a fresh flower arrangement today, one that was big, bright, beautiful and had a "put a smile on their face" appeal for a good friend of mine who needed some cheering-up. After sharing the details, a short time later I received a confirming e-mail with the order, how the card would read, etc., (very professional). They got the order out today. This evening I got a text from my friend on how beautiful and uplifting the arrangement was (I even got a photo with the text - showing the wonderful arrangement on their dining room table, it was AWESOME ! ). When I say it was "all I had hoped it would be" I'm serious 100%. Again, I highly recommend Carousel Flowers and a BIG "thank you" to their staff for an excellent transaction !”

“The owner is amazing - she’s the plant whisperer!!! I came in with my sick orchid. The orchid came from my mom, who recently passed away, so I really want this little plant to survive, but I know nothing about orchids. The owner took it out of its pot, treated it with love, checked its health by looking at the roots, told me all about it, and fixed it up a little special dirt + bark mix made of 3 different things. My plant looks so happy now! Thanks, Sunnyside Plants - you’re the best!!!”

Since purchasing a pickup truck I will never shop elsewhere and deal with "bagged" mulch, dirt or rocks. I can only imagine how much more it would have cost me for the equivalent of 3 yards of mulch. “I have a friend who is a passionate gardener as myself, so when her special 'milestone' birthday came along, I wanted to send her something she could eventually plant in her yard rather than a floral bouquet. I chose a pink azalea. Though I live in the western suburbs, I wanted to find a florist in her Jefferson Park neighborhood. I chose Wall's Flower Shop on Higgins but the website was redirected to Donna's Garden Flower Shop near Pulaski & Peterson. I spoke to Avi on the phone and he was extremely helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. This floral shop was extremely conscientious about delivering this fragile plant in the midst of our cold January weather. They called my friend and made sure she was home to receive it. She was extremely excited and thrilled to receive her gorgeous plant full of pretty pink buds. I will definitely recommend Wall's Flower Shop/Donna's Garden Flower Shop to all my Chicago friends!”

“Purchase two phalaenopsis online, listed as ‘in bud/stalk’. Came in safely, with gorgeous foliage. One had a prominent flower stalk with a second forming, and the other had two stalks. Shortly after, it formed a THIRD stalk!Seriously impressive plants, for a great price! I wish Hausermann stocked every variety of orchid I hope to own, I would never use another nursery.”

“I noticed the greenhouse as I was driving and pulled in thinking to see what they had for Christmas trees, they didn't have what I wanted but had a wide selection outdoors, with plants and knick knacks and a wide variety indoors, everyone was friendly and helpful, they have a little Cafe in there as well, I didn't have time to stay but will go back and check it out.”

“My wife and I had order tiles for our bathroom for curb side pickup and we were having an issue with the system showing them as being ready for pickup but when we arrived it looked like they weren't on the order anymore. We worked with Victor and he was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to make sure we got our complete order. Victor and Alex then both loaded up a car with all the heavy boxes and despite it being terribly cold, they were so kind and helpful! “Very helpful staff. Reasonable prices.A year since I wrote this review, give or take, and I generally no longer go to Home Depot and Countryside Illinois because it appears multiple staff changes have caused the service in a variety of departments to diminish. They seem to be much more helpful at the local Menards. as long as I go to Home Depot in Countryside Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 AM and 4 PM I could expect reasonable help with better than average expertise. If I go at other times when I try not to if I go at all the staff working there to be poorly trained, particularly in lumber, plumbing, electricity, gardening, but the checkout is generally quick and easy.”
