“Perhaps I’m used to the DMV-level of impatience that I’ve previously experienced at USPS locations, but the woman working on 7/10/26 (unfortunately didn’t catch her name) was an absolute rockstar. Not only was she patient with those that came in with questions, but she was kind, efficient, and taught me a few things about sending certified mail. Will continue coming here from now on”

“I appreciate the employees in this location beyond words. I use this post office constantly to renew my passport, and sending packages a couple of times a week. Every time I visit this location, they are curteous, kind, and helpful. I went in recently & felt so bad for the employees because it was over 95 degrees out & the ac was out. They were still so kind, when I was annoyed just dropping off packages for a few minutes. I’m not one to leave reviews but I had to give props to them for being so positive in such an annoying situation.”

“Cute small and old style mail office conveniently placed in a small downtown area , I went for a couple stamps for postcards, the attention was really good , lola took time to search for some specialty stamps (american revolution ones) i was interested in , overall great service and wasn't busy at all”
“I had an extraordinary experience in customer service excellence because of a clerk #13 by the name of Sharon‼️ I came in literally right before closing and she was very busy working however, greeted me with professionalism, care, friendliness and patience as she helped me with my package and it was basically near closing time! Sharon stopped what she was doing to assist me and I saw her also multitasking greeting others with the same grace at the “9th hour,” if you will‼️ She anticipated my needs and exceeded my expectations in a matter of minutes‼️

Everyone I spoke with was friendly, professional, and extremely supportive. This level of service has always been my experience when visiting this Post Office. It’s truly nice to know there is such a dedicated and caring group of people working there.”

I always have a wonderful experience at this post office, thanks to Tim. He is incredibly kind, patient, and helpful every time I come in. He is always so sweet to my son and makes us feel welcome.
One time I didn’t have tape for my package, and Tim went out of his way to help me find some so I could get everything mailed. It’s little acts of kindness like that that make such a difference.
He is always professional, friendly, and willing to help with any questions. Customer service like his is hard to find these days. Thank you, Tim, for making every visit such a positive experience!”

“I I just wanna give a five star review To the ladies at the front desk area in Bellwood post office on Saint Charles they were very diligent in helping me calm my nerves because I was rattled out of a bit waking up and couldn’t find my mail due to my own. Mishap or what not bottom line they got down to the bottom of it literally and now I have found my mail and happily ever after. “Went here yesterday for passport services and came away pleasantly surprised. First off, the building itself is pretty cool—nice bonus. The staff were genuinely helpful from the start. They walked us through the documents, helped take the passport photo, and handled everything with a friendly, easygoing attitude.
The whole process was quick and smooth. She clearly explained what happens next and made sure we didn’t have any questions before we left. No confusion, no hassle.
I’ll be honest—I was a bit skeptical after reading some of the negative reviews, but that wasn’t my experience at all. Everything felt well-run and efficient. Would definitely recommend.”
“Very confused as to how this location has a lower rating than the location on Lake Street. Unlike Lake Street's location, South Oak Park's employees are EXTREMELY friendly and efficient. The parking lot is a plus.”
“After having only lived in Westchester for a couple of years, I can happily state that this Post Office has the most helpful employees. Anytime I have gone in, I find them to be knowledgeable, professional, and helpful. I’d like to particularly call out the outstanding work that Stephanie does. Though there have been times when the lack of air-conditioning has left the lobby very hot, Stephanie has always maintained her upbeat positive outlook. This translates into great Customer Service! There is free visitor parking just north of the building. Walking time to post office maybe 4 mins. Overall I had a great experience.”

“Strangely enough I have a fair bit of experiences with many different post offices in the area and this location is by far one of the nicest. The employees have come to recognize me and I am able to joke around with them which breaks the usual PO tension.”

And even apologize for the wait was you are being helped. People just need to have patience these days and many don’t. I’m always greeted with a warm smile, and great service. “Kenneth is the best. He acknowledges everyone and happy to help. I was going to prioritize mail and he suggested certified to send tax info because as long as it’s postmarked, no penalties. He didn’t have to tell me this option. He saved me some money because he’s kind. This office is always friendly and nice. The other reviews are unfair. This is a small post office, but gets the job done in a friendly way!”

“Made an appointment to come and apply for my daughter’s passport. It was quick and easy. Already came with passport photos which I took on my phone with an app. Then I just printed them at Walgreens for $1.99 rather than paying $16.99. Already save cost there since purchasing a passport can be expensive.”
“This post office can get pretty busy, and there usually is only one person cashiering, and sometimes even doing passports on the side, but this is not the employees’ fault, its whoever does the scheduling, staffing, or hiring.
Anyways, Pat and Michael are always there to help with a smile even though they are usually a one-person team dealing with so much by themselves. Thank you both keep up the good work!”
“I never been to this location. I was in the area and decided to stop in and send my package. Customer Service was nice. Clerks were very knowledgeable and professional with dealing with the ignorance of a rude customer. While waiting in line, I witnessed a customer be very rude to the clerk in which she didn’t raise her voice or stoop to the customer’s level. I’m very impressed on how the cashier handled the situation. There are some extremely obnoxious people in the world and love to come and ruin the happiness of others. Some people are angry without cause. I will definitely come back to this post office.”
“Brookfield people, we need to be more grateful for our service workers. Went to another location this morning and they wanted me to buy a whole roll of tape for just a little piece. I’d rather come back all the way home and make sure my mail is taken care of. If service being a little slow is a problem for you, practice patience because this locations staff is always kind and helpful.”
