“We had a small gathering here at the gallery for an event unrelated to the usual art happenings in the gallery. This is space that serves for community and creativity. The exhibitions are vibrant. The gallery staff and art itself engage the patrons at every event.”

“I really enjoy taking evening walks here in their walking path. Plenty of families here with their kids playing or participating in their favorite sport. In the summer time they have music in the park with live bands playing today’s hits or old time favorites. Bring a lawn chair and enjoy the music.”
“Was here for a wedding. The place is huge. Could use a revamp because it's old and noticeable. The woman's restroom is up the stairs and they are kind of steep. It's big and had 3 stalls. The men's is on the main floor. Of you need a big plane for 200+ people then this is it but don't expect an updated look. Parking isn't that great either.”

“It was a great intimate space for a gathering the have an outdoor space also which is a plus. The kitchen area was clean. They had ample amount of tables and chairs. Parking of course is street parking but spots were available within the block.”

“I highly recommend this venue. I had my wedding here on 10/04/24. It was decorated beautifully by the venue and the food and cake included were delicious. Jose the venue coordinator is amazing. He is flexible and so thorough. He helped make sure nothing was forgotten. I am completely satisfied with their service and can't imagine how it could have been any better.”
“Sawmill Sports Hub is basically the Disney World of suburban sports—minus the mouse ears and plus the smell of gym floor cleaner. It’s a big, shiny, newer facility with a full-sized soccer field, multiple volleyball courts, and basketball courts so nice you’ll be tempted to lace up and relive your “glory days” (before remembering your knees are not what they used to be).
There’s plenty of seating for all the helicopter parents, so you can hover over your kid’s every move in comfort. Bonus points for the prime people-watching—nothing like seeing a dad go full NBA coach over an 8-year-old’s rec league game.
And when the inevitable “I’m huuungry” hits—whether it’s your kid or you—the concession stand is right there to save the day. They’ve got snacks for post-game celebrations, mid-game bribery, or just stress-eating through overtime.
Overall, it’s clean, spacious, and well-run. Whether you’re here for soccer, volleyball, basketball, or just to perfect your sideline commentary, Sawmill delivers.

When the day came, the hall was put together beautifully and exactly how we pictured it. The food was also excellent. If you are planning on having an event look no further than the Belvedere. “I haven't visited this park in over five years. We hiked for two hours. My friend Andrea led the hike. It was very peaceful and clean. They even have a black- owned smoothie bar at the entrance of the stairs. I will definitely visit again.”

“Beautiful banquet halls! I photographed a 16th birthday celebration here, and it was breathtaking with all the effort and how decorative it was all done by the location. The staff was extremely sweet! And let's not forget the food... absolutely DELICIOUS. Highly recommend having your event here if you're looking for a formal banquet hall!”
“We were told they only take drinks from the west side of the bar. They service is bad, they don't offer to help. They ran out of the liquor we were drinking. The.waitress”
“I attended a special event at the Mansion with Geoffrey Baer for WTTW. The place is very cool. Some of the rooms have been restored to their original furnishings and some are bare. The library, chapel, and hidden staircase are highlights of the mansion. The weather was not good for outdoor activities on the day of my visit, but the grounds are nice and would make a great place for a walk on a nice day.”
“I got married here 14 yrs ago before the fire..The sisters that own it our awesome..Total honesty with all charges..I'm having a party this weekend..8/25. “Absolutely loved this place. They have a gallery in the museum where you can purchase the art and support local artists. The gallery is free to enter, but the art exhibits (side from the outside art) require an entrance fee. They change out the art every couple of months.”
“I had my daughter's quince at Bella Luna and I am so happy I did. I was warmly welcomed by Alma when I first stopped by. She was so helpful with how the planning would go. Martha was so kind and helpful along the way. The day of the quince, the team I had went above and beyond. They were professional and the bartender knows how to make drinks! I seriously have nothing to complain about and I am a perfectionist. They captured everything and my vision came to reality. I highly recommend them for your next event and to my surprise none of my guest had a difficult time finding parking. The BEST team ever!!”
“We recently hosted our Son's 4th birthday party at BIG and it was a huge hit! We had 30 kids under the age of 8 and the staff was so accommodating to all ages! So many parents said it was one of the best birthday party venues they have been to and that after, their kids asked to have their party there too. We will definitely be back!”

“Sokol is so cool. I was a member of Sokol Tabor when I was a kid. My mother in law has always been in Sokol her whole life. My kids will be entering tumbling tots come registration period. It's a family fitness gym, activities include: competetive volleyball, gymnastics, calisthenics, dance and more. I camped at Sokol camp as a youth in upstate New York. You make life long friends, memories and connections through this amazing orginization. Czech it out ;)”
