“I always turn to this store when my 'local'er one doesn't stock an item. It doesn't have the self checkout stalls so sometimes there is a wait to finish up your shopping trip.”
“Love Aldi's - good prices, good quality - hard to beat. Only downside is there are some items they don't carry but small price to pay for all the items they do carry. The meat selection, while limited has proved to be good quality and great prices.”

“One of my top 3 Aldi in the country. Yep, I have been to so many. I can say that. Always clean. Staff are always helpful and kind. This location has a variety of ethnic and hard to find foods. This Aldi has more of the healthy options than most.
However, it is such a great Aldi that the Aldi finds disappear quickly! Heehee”

“I said I would go home and leave a positive review today based upon the interaction I saw between an irate customer and the ALDI associate and here it is.
The customer was an older women with little joy left of her life aside from complaining to the person ringing her up about how bad the store is and how she hates shopping at ALDI and goes on about how other local stores are problematic.
The ALDI employee used all grace and smiles to attempt to disarm her but in the end the only thing that brought it to an end was the conclusion of her transaction. Kudos to the ALDI employee for being as cool as he could be throughout the interaction. It was a model of how to deal with a bratty customer.
Additionally I always find the store to be clean, well stocked, and other employees cheery and professional. A joy to shop here.”
“Pak Brothers Grocers is my favorite spot for fresh Zabiha halal meat and authentic Asian groceries. The store is always clean, well-organized, and the staff is super friendly. Great prices and excellent service every time!”

“Always easy to shop. Occasionally relocate shelves and aisles but the people are friendly. With everything over priced these days, Aldi is the only reasonable store left.

“Hard not to like this place. Like most Aldis, this is a very no frills basic needs grocery store to go to. I'm sure there are some items here that are more expensive than other stores, but at least what I buy here (weekly meats, bread, fruit, ext), it's very comparable is not outright cheaper than the local stores. Also you can be in and out of here in as little as 5 minutes.
Place seems safe, staff are nice and efficient. It's not gonna wow you with its presence but it's still a great store.”

There are two Jewel Osco Food Stores in Lake Zurich less than a mile from each other. This one on Ela Rd & Hwy 22 has been there for a long time and is my very favorite.
Everyone is SO nice!”
“This place had homemade Posole which is amazing!!! A needle in the haystack find. They also have authentic Mexico herbal tea leaves such as cola de caballo (helps with kidney stones, tract infections, etc) if you want to experience the real Mexican culture in Illinois.. here is your best chance!”

“ETA: since the update this Aldi has been my favorite! They really did a good job at revamping the store and the produce is actually refrigerated so it’s better quality. Also love that they have self checkouts for quick runs.
1/15/2024 I normally love Aldi- but this stores layout was so poorly organized. Half of the produce had mold all over and some of the yogurts and sour creams were expired. The entire store just felt unclean. I would only buy pre-packages foods here and even then I would be checking it.”

“This Meijer is huge and I've never seen it busy, even on the weekends! The grocery side of the store can get a little busy but the center household/clothing section and the home improvement section on the other side is always empty. “When your in the mood for tacos, this place is the BEST around!! They keep changing the prices, now it's $2.50 each but it's well worth it. The portion size of the taco is loaded, since it's not a resturant. There are no tables & you order your tacos at the back of the store where they sell the meat. Love ? coming to this place for some Mexican tacos.”
