“Xavier was the most helpful person I could ever ask for. In the recent winter freeze I realized my dog needed snow shoes, after going to MULTIPLE stores I called this location. Not only did he tell me that they had them in stock but also told me how to measure my dogs feet for the right sizing and explain everything to me so well. Genuinely so thankful for urban mutt and their employees!”
“I want to give praise to Bentley's Pet Stuff in Downers Grove. Especially to Robert & Heather they are amazing. They have helped Vanilla Bean. I got vanilla July 17th 2022 and she had issues not wanting to eat or drink much. Robert & Heather have went out of their way. To help me get food to try to get her to eat she would eat it once or twice and that would be the end of it. I would make regular trips up there once a week. And nobody can tell us anything at the vets. We took her to the vet several times two different vets to try to find out what was wrong. Nobody can tell me what was wrong. Finally October 3rd 2023 we finally figured out what was wrong it was something calcified in her stomach. Surgery was emergency for Vanilla. Vanilla is a picky eater still but she's at least eating three to four times a day. I still go to Bentley's on a weekly basis to see if I could find something that she will eat. It's become costly with the surgery as well as trying to find a food that she will eat. Thank youRobert & Heather at Bentley's pet stuff in Downers Grove”

“I just want to say the way some of these customers treat some of these wonderful and friendly employees is purely disgusting and disrespectful!!! I witnessed a customer talking aweful to a groomer and I had to put them in their place!!! I’ve been coming to this location for years!!!!! I hope Petsupply plus can agree some customers are not always right some are completely miserable and looking for an altercation especially at this location because that wasn’t the first time I witnessed this and props to the employees for keeping their cool and letting the customers talk down to them instead of lashing back. Whoever is in charge, protect your employees with all costs. My family been getting our dog groomed here for a very long time and all the groomers are amazing from the employees that been there long to the new ones I’ve never had a Problem!!! I highly recommend this store to anyone in the area. My German shepherd loves it here.”
“Went last minute and was able to get a beautiful birthday cupcake for my niece , I was also able to obtain the birthday hats and candle !! It was delicious she enjoyed it! Will definitely be our go to place for treats. Staff was extremely friendly.”
“This place is the best. Our dog, Milo, loves coming in to shop… and the staff is fantastic. Sonia, Amber, Brenda and Kathryn (apologies if I forgot anyone) always love on him when they see him. They’ve always got events going on for dogs, and they are always super helpful with finding and recommending stuff for Milo. If I could give more stars, I would. “Donna is incredible!! The entire staff is amazing!! I have an aggressive rescue that was abused, never socialized… (over 90LBS and still a puppy) He’s petrified of hair dryers, vacuum cleaners, umbrellas, candles!!!…lol, the list goes on!! As soon as Donna greets him, it’s like he’s meeting his long lost friend! She is able to do an entire grooming w/ furminator, cut his nails and DRYYYY HIM. He even goes crazy when I’m using my own hair dryer in the bathroom. She is an actual miracle, and truly heaven sent! They are all truly gifted and beyond patient. He really loves everybody at this location, and lets them pet him ,which neverrrr happens. (Ask my vet ????♀️) Donna has an energy that is truly unmatched. She is a real dog whisperer. I will never take my big boy to anyone else. When I tell you this woman is truly gifted, I mean that from the bottom of my heart. Thank you Donna, from both of us ? And thank you to the whole Petsmart Downers Grove Staff. We are beyond grateful!!”

“I had an absolutely amazing experience at this PetCo. I have come here for years for my hamster and dogs, but recently decided to add a kitten to my home. I was picking out some things for my kitten and there was an amazing employee! I regret not getting her name, but she's a shorter girl with dark hair and glasses. She knew absolutely everything about cats and kittens and gave me amazing advice. She also gave me plenty of online resources to educate myself further. She went above and beyond what her job calls for and gave me a fantastic experience. I really appreciate that she cared so much about my kitten and cared that I was aware of things to provide him a healthy and happy life.”
“Picked up contacts next door and popped in here afterwards, and what a lovely surprise! This is the cutest shop ever and smells incredible since they bake everything in store. Picked up tons of yummy goodies for my two dogs! In addition to treats, there are lots of great pet food options that range from raw to kibble. Also has a dog wash which was spacious and clean. The owner was so kind and I even got to meet his two sweet dogs. I can't wait to come back!”

“Groomers at What The Fluff are AWESOME! Most definitely recommend. I have a 150 lb mastiff and he's been there twice now. First time for a bath and nails, now again for nails. Lets say he loves baths, but isnt very "cooperative" (to say the least) when it comes to his nails. They got the job done when I couldn't.Hes going in for a bath next week and setting up regular appointments with them for the future. Ive found our groomers!”

“I’ve been a loyal member here for years and I usually have amazing experiences, but my mom brought my dog in today for his 11th birthday and did not have the experience.My mom mentioned it was his birthday and bought him treats, but the girl helping her did not seem interested in the slightest and was anything but helpful. She also failed to give my dog his free treats for his birthday. Very disappointing.”
