“The House of Hope is a new church/arena. It's a lot bigger than what I remember years ago. Every seat is a good seat to see the stage. The acoustics were clear and sounded fantastic. I've been to other arenas are it was garbled and garbage. Not able to understand and hear the artist. The House of Hope was not like this but a 10/10One thing the only thing-- it was 7pm when we went to the bathroom and doors opened at 6pm and there was no toilet paper. Plenty of stalls ????but no toilet paper in many of them. They did bring some. Again, that was the only hiccup for us. We left early to avoid the parking lot jam.And of course, CeCe Winans killed it❣️? ????love her”
“Great golf course, very accommodating staff. The golf pros are great, shout out to Dan for hosting a great pga Jr event and keeping things upbeat and positive for all the junior players and their families. Had a great time.”

“They have been redeemed! I went back and did the tour. Trevor was very hospitable. The place has a rich in history. We tried rum, whiskey, bourbon and Pecan whiskey. The food was delicious, I had the bbq bourbon burger. He even comped us a very delicious bundt cake dessert! I described it as, "a mouth-gasm."”
“My sorority held our event for the first time this past weekend at this facility, and we were so happy with our choice. The center is clean, modern, well lit and has plenty of free parking. The tables and chairs in our room were beautifully set up well in advance, so we had very little prep work to complete. The customer service provided by the manager and his staff was professional and accommodating. The quality of the food and drink were also very good. I highly recommend this facility for any large scale event.”

“A nice venue for small reception. Staff were extremely pleasant and attentive. Food, which consisted of hors d'oeuvre (charcuterie, bruschette, cheese, fruit, meatballs, etc), was excellent. Culinary pizzas were fantastic. (Margarita pizza was definately thumbs up good.)The building, which is a designated historic building, is very handicap accessible with wide door openings and room to manuever. Even the outdoor patio, which is well shaded, was handicap accessible since is it astroturf instead of grass.There is a lack of parking dedicated to the venue but there is plenty of public parking within a short walk. The building was a little warm. Being a historic building the owners were probably limited in air conditioning options. For a small reception it would be fine. Having the outdoor patio was nice.I would definitely would book a reception at this business!”

“This place is huge your typical looking ballroom. But what I like about this place is that they have Parking & not a lot of traffic it's a easy venue to go to & it's perfectly located. This place is perfect for just about any event. I have attended this place for a Wedding & a couple of Damen Williams Comedy Shows here & now a birthday party / Qdog event. It had to be bout 500 people @ this event but we had plenty of room to move around. They also have a bar. Perfect!!”

“Went to Jazz night on Friday. This place is great! Wonderful relaxing venue, not over run like many places in Chicago are, great resonable priced bar, the food was really good as they have an on-site master chef who really knows how to cook. The waitresses were very friendly and stopped by our table often, what's not to LUV ❤️ about this place. This has to be one of the best kept secrets on the South Side. I purchased my tickets at Eventbright and was only $15. What a value for a night of Jazz with a live band. Secure easy free parking lot right next to club. Sam Somebody was the Jazz band playing and was awesome. His sax skills were remarkable. Did a great mix of classic and a few obscure Jazz songs that were very educational. One of the highlights of the night was when his sister got up on stage and just let loose, she is so talented and everyone at my table was just in awe at her voice range and perfect pitch tone. Mariah Carey ain't got nothing on you. Also, it was a very nice mature audience, and yes, some dancing and a lot of fun were all over the place. I could really feel the love here as everyone was so nice. All races were present and made to feel welcome. Absolutely no young thugs here, so if that was of any concern, it's not an issue. Can't wait to come back, I think I may just become a regular on Friday Jazz nights. I recently moved into this area near 75th St. and it is so wonderful to have a venue like this in my neighborhood. Congrats to the people who envisioned this club and for the hard work it must have taken to make it happen. If you haven't been here yet, ya gotta check it out, you will be glad you did!”

“The New Dating Game on Stoney Island is smooth. Back in the day it use to be goofy but seems like they under new management or something because they security is on point. The food was decent, the drinks were smooth. It's opened up with the booths on the outside. They have TVs everywhere so you can watch the game from any angle. Plus they an age limit after a certain time where you have to be 35 years old and up. That right there cuts the monkeyball when it comes to altercations. The NDG is smooth!!!”

“Came in around 9:30pm on a Thursday and was seated immediately. Kania was my server and she was super nice. I ordered spinach dip, calamari, Mac & cheese, caesar salad, and chicken wings. Food came out within 20 mins. Everything was fresh and seasoned well. There are a variety of drinks available too.I was there for karaoke night hosted by an energetic woman named Lady Red. The crowd was lively and fun. There are a variety of drinks available too. Clean restaurant with lots of seating. There's a nice bar as well.Parking: Lots of parking available.”
