“There were 6 of us who went on a Saturday evening 8:30pm reservation (highly recommended). Once inside, the music was jamming and there was a LIVE band. The food was delicious. I ordered red beans and rice, sweet potatoes , fried catfish and cornbread. Absolutely delicious!!!!! And the tequila sunrise mimosa - OMG. This will not be my last visit.”

“We recently hosted a beautiful 60th birthday celebration at this venue: Park Forest location, and everything was absolutely amazing! The space is very large and can comfortably accommodate up to 300 guests, which was perfect for our big crowd. The atmosphere was elegant and welcoming, making the entire event feel special.
The service was professional from start to finish, and the sisters truly did an outstanding job making sure every detail was taken care of. They were organized, attentive, and genuinely cared about making the celebration memorable.
Our guests are still talking about how wonderful everything was! I would highly recommend this venue for any large event you won’t be disappointed.”
“Fabulous place to enjoy some music. Good acoustics and I didn't see a bad seat in the house. The cocktails were delicious and they serve Beggars Pizza if you are hungry. Definitely worth a go.”

That's incredible with guest attendance of about 300. Parking plentiful. Easy to find off Route 30 or 394 depending on the direction you're coming from. Spacious area around the tables and along the sides too. Room for photo booth type.”

The concerts at FOL (festival of the lakes) are a lot of fun, too! The live entertainment is great! They really put on a good show.”
“I belonged to the Griffith IWLA back in 1950s when this was a swamp and the dirt was sold to excavators for the expressway s that was being built at that time in Northern Indiana. My brother Tom and I set trap for the trap shooters year round. We used to set turtle lines and caught many snapping turtles. Some were so big, they could bend and pull the metal stakes out of the ground. I could go on for a long time about the Ikes, it was my home away from home for many years. I loved the Griffith IWLA.”
“I am a new member joined church on Happy Resurrection Day every one calls Easter. It's all about Jesus for me. My sister I grew up with Bridget Hargrove invited and I felt the spirit get me up, especially after he said if you don't have a church home come join us we are family here. I felt that the first day I stepped in Salems Church. Everyone is so nice kind and caring just sweet. I'm so happy to be apart of the family. Pastor Dates spoke and moved me. He preaches God's Word so beautifully. He makes you understand everything breaking it down and letting us hear what God has told him to teach us. I appreciate him very much. Thank you Father God for blessing us with your Son Dr. Charlie Dates. I love this church I am going through some things and my new church is helping me understand a lot. I give what I can every Sunday. I feel no matter what you have give back to God. I'm not selfish or stingy. I give from my heart with everyone. I miss my mom and dad grew up in the Beverly Hills Morgan Park area and attended Morgan Park highschool Mustang love went to the hoagy shop on 111th and when gramps was there on Longwood st right down the street from our high school, with the corn beed sandwiches the best eateries ever. My opinion ?!!! I just wanted to give The HOUSE OF HOPE SALEM'S BAPTIST CHURCH A SHOUT OUT!! IF U DONT BELONG TO A CHURCH AND WANNA HEAR THE WORD OF GOD PLEASE COME HERE. YOU FEEL SO FULFILLED AND UPLIFTED. GOD'S HOUSE ALWAYS WELCOMES YOU PLEASE COME. AGAIN SO HAPPY I DID”
“Went here for a work Christmas party and it was very nice. The food was excellent, but they don’t have a lot of servers so it takes a long time to get things. We asked for rolls at the beginning of dinner and didn’t get them until dinner was over. Little things like that or what make the difference. Overall, the staff did a great job considering there was only two for 85 people.”
“If you're looking for an intimate setting sixty three social is the place for you they can host all events birthday party's, weddings, baby showers and so much more you name it they can get the job done for you also if you're not looking for a large room they also have a smaller event room for rent as well come check at sixty three social for yourself you won't regret it also if you're hungry don't forget to swing by the Cooper room (adjacent from sixty three social) the food is absolutely delicious from the lamb chops to the burgers whatever you may be in the mood for they will get you right come see for yourself ? ?”

“My husband and I celebrated our vow renewal here just a couple of weekends ago. Manuel had amazing communication and was very easy to work with. The space itself is surprisingly Big and we fit 100 guests more than comfortably. There were more than enough tables and chairs provided for us. The price to rent was a blessing! We were able to decorate the day before which was a major plus for us. We partied up until 11:30 and we weren't rushed which I really appreciated. Manuel made sure that my wedding cake was handled with care too upon delivery. His volunteers also helped us get some last minute things done before the wedding which was also very much appreciated by us. I want to recommend the decorator he works closely with as she did an amazing job transforming the space for us as well as catering the event. Her name is Norma. All in all we'd definitely come back for future events.”
“My husband and I got married at Meyer's Castle in early November, 2025. We had the best day ever! We fell in love with the venue on our first tour, and after going back to see it again we knew it was the place for us. Our coordinator Eva was the absolute best day of! She was very helpful leading up to the day, and on the day she completely rocked it! She managed everything, dealing with situations that I didn't even have to address, helped set up our decor, and made sure everyone and everything stayed organized. It started to rain and she made sure we still had our picture perfect outdoor ceremony while simultaneous keeping everyone dry. She had umbrellas ready and we didn't have to stress at all. Literally a dream come true.”

I never had a bad experience with staff. Any issues I had from the refrigerator light going out to the treadmill in the gym; they were taken care of quickly.”

Angle is so nice, pleasant, and understanding I mean her heart is GOLD. I booked my daughter baby shower I was out done with the decor. “What a beautiful facility! We're not skaters but my granddaughter is visiting from Texas and I needed something for her to do, that she's never done before. We decided to try skating. OMG!
Lynnwood Skating Rink, is a hidden gem. My granddaughter had a great first lesson. The husband and wife team that teach the classes for adults are AMAZING! They also had younger children that were being trained as well and again it's so worth checking this place out. I plan to try it myself. Great people, great facility.”
