“I don’t often post reviews for gas stations, but this one stands out and I want to recommend it for travelers on I-80.The employees are exceptionally nice, it’s easy to get in and out of the parking/gas area and to/from I-80. There was construction nearby and even that was well marked and easy to navigate.All the gas pumps were working (which sadly is becoming rare) and the pumps and parking are laid out to maximize traffic flow.Inside, the finishes are updated and everything was clean and inviting, restrooms included. Did not feel like a gas station. They have a great selection of drinks, snacks, meals and more fresh/real food than expected. Something for everyone. We were on a cross country trip and it stuck out as a high point.”

“My low tire pressure light came on while driving in the rain to Bettendorf to visit my Mom. I didn’t know where to go but happened to pull in and Brian was so nice and took care of filling my tires and even helped recalibrate the dash so the light went off. “I live in Bettendorf and I choose to stop at this Casey's when I have to work out of town because it's the best one! The employees are always friendly, I've never ever had a bad experience. They're always upbeat and can make my day better just by their niceties. Pizza is always hot and they usually keep it stocked up and I love that they don't just do breakfast pizza in the morning either. One of the best Casey's in the quad cities by far.”
“Chris and his team at the Moline Hy-Vee's Floral Department are amazing and I can't recommend his services enough!Chris provided all of the floral arrangements for our wedding at The Outing Club in Davenport, IA and did an amazing job. He was extremely patient with us during our consultations and came up with a stunning set of designs for both our outdoor ceremony and our indoor reception. We could not be happier with his attention to detail, the price, or the results and would recommend him to anyone. We received innumerable compliments on the over-the-top floral arrangements! “I've enjoyed Kwik Star for the better part of 10 years. I remember shopping at their locations in Rochester, MN frequently during an internship spent in the area. I still enjoy shopping at the relatively newer locations, including this store off 53rd street in Bettendorf.On this particular trip, I only wanted a quick later night snack prior to returning home. I selected a bag of cheddar flavored Chex mix and a cherry flavored Coke Zero. Both were easy to locate and select.To this point, one of the things I think Kwik Star does really well is their store layout. It's fairly clear where everything is right when you walk through the entrance. Baked goods and coffee are in one direction, beer and alcoholic libations are in another, and grocery and hot case items are front and center. It definitely works well.After I got my Chex mix and soda, I was able to pay quickly. This is mostly due to the competence of the cashier, who was friendly and efficient.I hope Kwik Star sticks around for a while. I enjoy this location and their others in the area. Thanks for being a great quick stop for gas and food in Bettendorf!”

“After having dinner in Colona, I really wanted a drink and another snack before returning home to Bettendorf. This Big 10 Mart was along my route back to I-74, so I opted to stop here to grab both before traversing the remainder of Avenue of the Cities.This Big 10 Mart is like many convenience stores across the Quad Cities. There are shelves of different kinds of snacks. A shelf of automotive products, a shelf of hygiene goods, and glass door coolers of various cold alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Around one corner is a coffee bar with other cases and drink dispensers close by.The floors are a clean 5 or 6 inch square grey ceramic tile, while the overhead is covered by a drop ceiling with florescent lighting. The walls, those which are visible, are a light brown/tan color.I found a Gatorade Zero that I wanted and procured it from the cooler, then selected a bag of Gardetto's Rye Chips (I really like the rye chips only bags offered). I went to the attendant at the counter and paid not long after. Payment was simple - their machine read my Google Pay and I was on my way seconds later.There's not much more really to say - it's a gas station convenience store, it's clean, and I got the snacks I wanted when I stopped by. If I were coming home from Colona again via this route, I'd probably stop by again. Thanks, Big 10 Mart!”
“The owner, Chris, is a real bourbon connoisseur, and they have a great selection of hard to find, rare, and unique whiskies. I'm not quite sure about the rest of the store because I never made it beyond the spirit shelves! It was such a treat to find this place in Moline, and to talk with someone who has a true passion for whiskey. Make sure to stop by his bar two doors down called Central Craft where they have plenty of those same spirits to try, and several craft beers on tap.”
