“Edited 6/23/2026: I am staying for the third time at this location. All of the below still applies. I have no complaints at all.

I had an excellent week long stay here last week and I will be back several more times as I have accepted a temporary work assignment in Carbondale.

Pros: Clean, well stocked rooms. I had everything I needed to eat, including an apartment size fridge, toaster, microwave, dishwasher etc. No stove but they offer a griddle or hot plate at the front desk (I didn't use it). Showers come with wall attached shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Lots of towels. Extra blanket and pillows. A/c was cold!!! Ice machine down the hall. Even a pull out sleeper sofa, desk, and pull out table to eat on. I was thrilled to see they had a laundry room that uses an app to pay instead of quarters. I did not use the heated salt water pool but I might in the future. It looked well maintained. Breakfast was good, variety, well stocked. Some reviews mentioned dirty rooms and loud guests. I experienced none of that. My room was immaculate and my stay was peaceful with no loud guests. Internet was fast and free. Several HBO channels and cable channels. The elevator is fast. I never waited more than 10 seconds before the doors opened.

Cons: This was not a problem for me but I see some negative reviews about noise. Do not stay here if you don't want to be across from the amtrak. There were intermittent train sounds but it didn't bother me. It never woke me up.

My stay was great. I was comfortable the whole time. Front desk staff were really nice and told me everything I needed to know. Good location in what feels like a safe area. I am looking forward to being back in 2 weeks.”

“This hotel has three floors and houses a swimming pool. There is a pub adjacent to the hotel lobby.

The room is really clean, nice and neat. The sheets smell good and are crisp.

The location is strategic being near restaurants in the heart of downtown Carbondale.

Overall service is great.”
