Lovely location and rooms. It was clean and quiet. Only minor complaint is that breakfast isn’t served until 9:00am. I would recommend having something available for guests who may have activities planned for earlier in the day. Simple grab and go items like fruit and granola bars would be a nice touch.

Our 4th stay at Makanda Inn and we were not disappointed! Jackie and staff were very friendly and welcoming! Our room was spotless and the breakfast was delicious! Can't wait to go back!

If you’re looking for something off the beaten path that is beautiful, quiet and super comfortable this is your spot. The lodge is wonderful and the morning breakfast was fantastic. Can’t wait to come back.
