“Usually a great place to stop. Fuel doesn't seem to cause any issues. Night-time fuel-ups are better gas to be honest.
Only problems I ever have stem from card reader complications at the pump. It's not just our Fleet cards, but personal cards as well. Start then stop. Counts as a use of the card for the day. Does it for the mag strip and the chip reader. I've observed others having the same issue. Causes a real problem when its late and we have to fill up and wash the vehicle before we turn it in for the night.
People working there are usually quite friendly and do apologize when we have issues. Unfortunately, the issues do still come up, and I can't figure if its a technical store-level thing (i.e., nighttime shutdown ops), a pump integration issue, or some gremlin in the system.
Any way you slice it, its inconvenient as heck, and I'm glad it doesn't happen often.”

“Usually has good chewy pellet ice for fountain drinks but this time they had cube ice. We were told it was temporary because the machine was broken. Fountain drink area is small and cramped but has good selection. The fountain has "flavor shots" to add to your drink for free. They have a frozen drink machine with Ski. Derby lemonade, sweet tea, unsweetened tea, and sweetened raspberry tea is made there. Some coffee drinks are available. Large selection of snacks and bottled drinks available. They sell beer. I saw Bud, Miller, Goose Island, Coors, and a variety of other brands. There is a usually-sparse roller grill and donuts. They have nachos and cheese. Cashiers are friendly. Edit November, 2017: A clerk at this store informed me their Derby Lemonade is seasonal and will be back at a future date. They still have sweetened, unsweetened, and sweetened raspberry iced Derby tea.”
“From out of town, the girls were friendly and helpful. Place was clean and they had lots of snacks to choose from. Rated a 4 because there were no hot foods ready after 2 pm......total bummer, we were so wanting a few brats after fishing.”

“Huge selection of products. Especially alcohol, very comparable to an actual liquor store. Very helpful and friendly staff. Also compared to anywhere else I've personally been in Clinton county to get gas, they're the lowest prices that I know of from Carlyle till crossing over to Missouri. Huge parking lot and they have events during the summer not to mention a Plenty of Gas pumps in the front and on the side they have RV and Big Rig pumps as well.”
