“This place can be "hit-or-miss" because the prices can be somewhat outrageous, everything has been going up... but if you have the time to really look for the deals, they are there. I think maybe the pricing is done by multiple people, and somebody that works there thinks certain items are worth waaaaaaay more than they actually are. You can find furniture that is destroyed with holes and stains for $300 or you can find nice, well-preserved furniture for $20, kind of like most resale stores as of lately. For whatever reason, sometimes the prices are higher than CORT furniture, which is why I haven't been visiting as frequently. The volunteers there are mostly very helpful and friendly. Ive been helped by a woman named Karen recently and she was great at helping me locate specific types of furniture that I had been looking for and made me feel very comfortable while shopping. She was great :)”

“I love this place, the stock is always new and the staff is wonderful. So many fun treasures to find. I often loose track of time and they don't ever rush me. They even stayed an hour past close one night and I didn't even realize it. They are the bomb. They price by the lot so the thrill of the hunt is a blast. Totally stop by often!! Highly recommend.”

“Absolutely love the store front and online store, Perich. The products Michael sells here are perfect for quirky, fun, and beautiful gift for others or for my home. Perich makeup and Essence sprays are my absolute favorite and cannot praise or recommend them enough! I ordered some Essence sprays a few months back and one came broken, thanks to the post office not handling the package correctly. I contacted Michael and he took care of it right away. “My bed didn't change after 5 years of use even though I have 2 cats ! I'm ready to share my experience since I'm waiting for new delivery to have more in addition to the bedroom set. I attached below photos of new stylish black chair with loveseat that's gonna go to the office once i fully prepare the room. That looks modern and fantastic! Also I'm waiting for that cozy ans soft sectional with those unique looking and easy cleaning consoles! I gonna get it in orange instead of blue and in different size. But let me share with the last 2 photos I attached of my bed, where first photo is made 5 years ago and the second one - is current. As you see, there's no changes with the bed even though I have cats and I moved my bed 3 times since I purchased it !Now I got delivered new Tempur-Pedic hybrid "Luxe-Breeze", love how it has 2 layers of the cover besides the waterproof protector I use on the top of it. Outstanding level of look and sleep quality. My spine was never so relaxed as now and it got so easy to sleep straight on the back instead of changing position all night long. Definitely recommend , I'm obsessed with how my bedroom looks like and can't wait for the sofas coming in! And they also helped us design our corner fireplace shelf.Their installation staff were friendly and professional as well. They prepped our wall for the large barn door so good, you can’t tell they cut the drywall at all.When the large barn door was finally installed --- wow. It looked great. The door glides smoothly on the track when opening and closing. And my wife and I love how it fills up the empty side of the large wall when opened.Our corner fireplace shelf is great too, but it can’t compare with the look of our barn door. “This is one of the Ten Thousand Villages that has an annual handmade rug event, where you can come in and see the rugs. You might find handmade rugs someplace like The Dump in Lombard, however here you can be sure it's made by fairly-paid artisans and you don't need to wonder about child or slave labor. They often have interesting jewelry which is quite affordable; miscellaneous housewares; runners/napkins/placemats/aprons etc. and hand-knit hats/scarves/mittens. They even carry fair trade chocolate bars. It's a little bit like Pier 1 used to be but with fairly-paid artisans instead of mass merchandise. There's nothing here that you need, but there is probably something here that will make you smile. Staff is very pleasant and patient when you ask them to, say, show you every rug in a three-foot stack of carpets, and if you have something particular in mind, they'll help you find something similar.”
