“Dr. Wyatt is an absolute true professional and caring Vet. She has always showed such strong compassion and caring for our animals, and really takes the time to listen to all our concerns. She has always examined our girls fully even if only there for a certain reason. We always feel like she such an expert at her craft, and would not ever consider going anywhere else. “I took my pups in for their first visit on the 14th of march. I have 2 pomeranians, female 10 months and male 8 months old. The reason for the visit, my 10 month old female has bilateral luxating patellas, grade 3. She was diagnosed by a different vet. The first suggested surgery in May when she is a year old and her growth plates closed. I went to the Shore for a second opinion. My second pup was along for the ride.I was so happy with the enthusiasm and care i recieved there. They loved my pups and the pups loved them. They were on board with my choice in holistic care for them and even helped me with recipes for homemade dog food.Outcome is no surgery at this time, and see how she progresses with exercise and mild manipulation. Essentially continue doing what I've been doing.The office is clean and does not smell like wet dog. They treat exotics as well as offering alternative therapy such as acupuncture and chiropractic care. All of this is the reason i will be transferring the care of my pups to them, even though it is not close to my home.”

“We took our dog Coke (brother named Pepsi) to Springhill Veterinary Clinic last week. We adopted Coke from an Aussie Rescue Organization about 7 years ago when he was 2 or 3. He had been very abused before he was rescued, so he was very anxious and frightened of many things and situations. He has improved a lot, but is still very scared in several situations, on being riding in the car, and another being entering strange places. He was very anxious when we brought him in, but the people at Springhill were so king and calming. We brought Coke in because he'd been acting pretty sluggish and not at all himself. We had Dr Rettinick (? sorry) and she was wonderful with Coke and with us. She was very thorough and did some tests for Senior dogs. The next day, she called and told us Coke's tests were good, but he was just a little dehydrated. She said we'd keep an eye on that. This place is really good. I know we will take Coke to Springhill Veterinary Clinic for years to come!”

“I have been going to Lakeland Animal Hospital for years! The staff is ALWAYS friendly! The veterinarian's are all conscientious and compassionate when it comes to my dogs. Unlike other places I have gone to they do not push to do anyting I'm financially not comfortable with.
I can't speak highly enough for Lakeland Animal Hospital!
UPDATE: I posted my original review 4 years ago and I would post the same review today (5/7/2024). My golden retriever mix had an enlarged heart. Under Dr Dunn's care he lived to be 14 1/2. I had to put him down in November and my other dog in February. Both dogs needed Immediate Care at the end. Instead of sending me to emergency, where they would have had to be put down in a strange place.... Dr Dunn squeezed them in so I could put them down at peace where they were comfortable with Dr Dunn and his wonderful staff.”
“Dr. Carlson is hands down the best veterinarian I’ve ever encountered, and I’ve encountered quite a few. Years ago, I saw Dr. Carlson treat my parents dogs and elderly cat into their twilight years and the compassion and love he has for our animal family members is unmatched. We firmly believe his recommendation of acupuncture treatment for their elderly Weimaraner gave her another 2 years of life after we all thought she had lost mobility in her back legs. I went to another vet for a few years (because they were closer to me) until they recommended expensive and side effect-inducing medications for my 15 year old Weimaraner. I had my doubts so I called Riverside for a second opinion. He reviewed her test results, health records, and examined her thoroughly and agreed that she needed none of that. Dr. Carlson put her on a much more gentle holistic regimen that allowed her to live comfortably the rest of her days. And when it was her time to go, at almost 16, he lovingly stroked her and held her paw the whole time while my husband and I said our goodbyes. The compassion is unmatched. Now I take all my pets to Riverside. Thank you to Dr. Carlson and his amazing team for always giving my pets the best treatment possible.”

“We have been going to Dr Max for years now. He and his office gals take great care of our cats. They are nice, easy to get a hold off and schedule an urgent visit. Dr Max is honest knowledgeable vet, gets straight to the business. Reading reviews on him overcharging patients is complete lie, he never pushed any unnecessary treatments and explained what is necessary and not necessary for our pets. Actually his providing, meds and vaccines are more than affordable, including self pay discount, who cat beat that. My cats have been treated with passion and respect, absolutely would recommend Dr Max to everybody.”
