“What a wonderful boutique! I have always been intimidated by boutiques, but I received a gift card, so I ventured in. The clothing is really nice, most of it can be casual or dressy, depending on the accessories. The jewelry and accessories there are also pretty, with a variety of style options.
The owner was incredibly kind and fun to talk with. She is so knowledgeable about everything in her store, but also about other places I could shop and about local things to do. She had great suggestions, without being pushy in the slightest. She loves what she does, and that made it fun to shop at Black Orchid Boutique. I'll be back, with friends!”

“I was on the hunt for a good pair of jeans. I went i to Maurices in Algonquinand and Rachel spent about an hour bringing me every pair of jeans in the store until we found two that were perfect! I have never had that much attention before at a retail shop. It was during the week so it was a bit slower. Rachel listened to my concerns and was honest with her opinions but didn't push me into buying something I didn't want. Had a great experience and would recommend asking for Rachel!”

“While waiting for a reservation at a restaurant nearby, we stopped at Talbots. (I was with my wife and my mother.) Both are petite and both shop at Talbots since they have one of the best selections of petite-sized women's clothes around. When I tried to check-in, I realized that this location wasn't on Yelp, so I added them. (The manager was very happy I did that.) While the women shopped, I took a few pictures and posted them right away. For the few times I go clothes shopping with family, I know how hard it is to find petite clothing. This Talbots has one of the largest selection of Petites I've seen anywhere. Both found a number of things they liked. (And I have to admit, looked good.) We patronized, and found things; we paid (and got a $30 discount for joining their buying club). Then, it was off to dinner.”
