“Went here for the first time to see if they had any of the vacuum models I was thinking about purchasing. Not only did the shop have multiple Sebo and Miele units I was interested in, but the owner had lots of useful knowledge about the different models and what would fit our house best. The Sebo we got has been GREAT for us so far, PLUS it was cheaper than the price listed on Walmart and Amazon (during prime week!), AND we got an additional pack of bags and a house air purifier for free with our purchase! Since he is a registered dealer, our warranty is 10 years. In an age of big box stores and planned obsolescence, I hope this mom & pop sew & vac shop stays around forever.”

“Culligan of Champaign is a great place to do business. They had a replacement tank for our RO system in stock for a reasonable price and the lady up front was very helpful 💖”

“I had an AMAZING experience with Lindsay at Hampton's Kitchen & Appliances in Champaign, IL. We were doing a flip house, and I wasn’t impressed with the quality of cabinets at the big box stores. They were made so cheaply and the lead time for anything decent was awful. We were working with a small kitchen layout, and I wanted to maximize the functionality as none of the appliances could move. I emailed the dimensions and pictures of the old kitchen to Lindsay and expressed the struggles we were facing. Getting the quality and staying within a budget was so difficult. I loved how I didn’t feel judged when she disgusted the numbers and she genuinely wanted to help me. We bought tall, white, soft-close hinge cabinets that came with free delivery to the house for $500.00 more than the cheapest custom options at Home Depot, Lowe’s and Menards. Her kitchen ideas elevated this flip and helped us sell this home. We DEFINETLY will be reaching out to Lindsay with future flips. Thank you so much Lindsay!”

“Repair was very quick turn around. Cody arrived when quoted and he was very friendly. Went about diagnosing the problem with our refrigerator and informed me of the results. Although not what I wanted to hear, but it is what it is. I will be visiting the store to order a new fridge later today. This model from GE has been a good one and will purchase the same one again. I would encourage anyone in the market for appliances to visit Dick Van Dyke; they don’t disappoint.”

“I have been to Home Depot a few times over the years to assist my folks with some things. First time was Black Friday shopping. My parents needed a ladder. Surprise, surprise- I ended up finding something for myself. There were some very nice leggings on sale- I picked up some for me and my mom. Home Depot actually has some nice Black Friday deals- not a place that I really thought about going to on BF. Passing by there this year, it was pretty busy. Most recently, I went with mom to get some light bulbs for a candelabra lamp and replace faucet. There happened to be two staff members in the bulb section when we arrived and they were a great help. Faucet section had a huge selection at various price points. Hope the one we picked out worked!”
