Renter Beware! Confirmed does not mean what you think it does in Enterprise World. My car was in the shop for a week so I arranged to rent a car from Enterprise in Champaign. One half hour before I was scheduled to pick the car up, I received a call that there were no cars available at that location. They then proceeded to string me along stating that they were trying to get vehicles from other locations, that cars would be returned later in the day, promising to call me back (they never did) before finally acknowledging the next day that no car would be forthcoming. Apparently overbooking is their standard practice, and the lack of concern or even an apology suggested to me that this is a common occurrence at this location. Renting from these folks is like flying standby; it might work out, but don't count on it.

I had a great experience with Brianna she's always super professional and polite. She's reassures me when there's anything I'm worried with. I definitely look forward to walking in those doors and seeing her and the other employees. Great experience thank you for always going above and beyond.

We rented a van to take on a 300 mile trip for our daughter's first bday. First of all the van reeked of cigarettes to the point our clothes smelled like smoke just sitting in the vehicle. My husband is a mechanic and noticed it had a wheel bearing going out. By this point our local office was closed and we were supposed to leave the next morning. I called the 1800 customer service number. After, explaining the situation and expressing that we felt traveling in this vehicle would be unsafe, he stated "the only thing he could do was send a email to our local branch". I was not contacted before we had to leave. We reluctantly drove the vehicle on our trip, it was a rough ride but it made it. Upon returning the vehicle I called the 1800 number again to request a credit for the inconvenience. I was told a credit was applied to our account however my card was billed for the original amount.Hopefully they have at least had this vehicle serviced so it is safe for the next renter.I've always used enterprise for our rental needs and had good luck but after this miserable experience we will rent elsewhere in the future.

I have tried to use enterprise a couple of times & have been very disappointed with their service. I called to rent an impala to take a trip out of town. Both times they told me I couldn't get an impala & would be given an alternative. I'm a bigger guy & wanted an impala for the comfort. I fit comfortably in them. But a malibu or Chrysler 300 wasn't enough room for me to fit comfortably. I ended up driving my own truck out of town.

This location in Champaign at Prospect Ave, is not picking up the calls. I was kept on hold for 30 minutes still no one answered. Not once but three times. It has been two weeks since I returned the rental car but my deposit of 300$ has not been refunded.Two stars are for the well maintained cars.

I'm not a big fan of Enterprise, and I was hoping this location would change my mind. It has been a struggle, but I will work on it once I learn about their unwritten process. It doesn't matter what your reservation time or confirmation call says; it's still first come, first serve, and if there isn't a car for you, we will see what we can do. The last rental smelled so bad with weed, even after I asked them to spray something to remove it. My customers who rode with me noticed it when they opened the door. Upon return, a gentleman said he would upgrade me to an SUV for next week's rental, but that did not happen. Instead, I got a car that I reserved; it was filthy, and the washer fluid was not the right for Midwest winters.

Wonderful experience, everyone was nice and welcoming, and the car I got was incredible. Saved me a lot of time doing most of the check-in online before pick-up. Will definitely use Enterprise again.

I have used Enterprise for about two years now and each time the customer service is amazing. They always are quick with check in, as long as you have all the documents you need to verify- they are always making sure you are in and out. There have been times my car wasn’t ready which pushed back my schedule, however, they always try to accommodate you and make sure you are taken care of. Somethings we just can’t control. Overall, I enjoy the office here in Champaign.
