Channahon Park District is an awesome place and one of the best parks in Illinois. It is a nice, well-kept area perfect for family outings, with multiple parks and a great aquatic center that is clean and a perfect size. It is excellent for children and a must for wheelchair-bound individuals, with accessible features. The district also offers camping and is a doggie paradise, seeing wildlife like waterfowl. It is a safe, up-to-date, and highly recommended place to visit.
Awesome place for my 3 yr old and 18 mo. Old. Both of them could do most stuff indepedently. A must if you have a handicapped/ wheelchair bound individual, merry go round built into the ground. So rool on through. Also 3 parks on 1 street...bonus

The aquatic center is great. Perfect size to keep track of multiple kids. The water isn't freezing cold and it's clean.
