“These guys are great. They will do most repairs on site instead of you having to bring trucks and trailers to them. If it's not a super extensive job they'll come to you. I've had them do PMs, engine light repairs, fuel tank straps, a fuel tank, fix air leaks, and more. Cyle is always nice even if you wake him up at 4:30 in the morning. They go the extra mile for their customers.”

This place is amazing! Always above and beyond. Skilled and honest. Always friendly and professional. Excellent ballance of quality and price. I have used this shop in the past because they had good reviews and are close to my work.
Recently, I was driving to work when I felt one of my break lines pop. The timing was awful as I was set to start driving to Boston right after work for my daughter's wedding. Not only did they take me right away, but they were able to replace both break lines before my shift ended.
I can only imagine how disruptive it was to their schedule. They could have charged me triple what they actually did and I would have happily paid. It would still have been cheaper than two plane tickets and a rental car with less than 24 hours notice.
If you need automotive service, I strongly encourage you to give them a call.”

“In November of 2025 my 2021 GMC Sierra 1500 was struck from the rear. Damage was done to the six-point tailgate, the bumper, trailer hitch, frame, both rear quarter panels, electrical connections, and the mount that connects the driver seat to the floor. My insurance co. gave me a choice of three places to take my vehicle in a fifty mile radius. My insurance agent advised me that Rendel's on Republic Ave in Joliet was on the list because of their integrity. I was familiar them with previous work related experiences. It took a while to get my truck back. That's because they don't by cheap aftermarket parts and they don't rush the job to get the vehicle out the door. I waited a while to write this because I wanted to thoroughly check everything out. The electrical components all work correctly. The mechanical components all work correctly and line up perfectly ( like when the truck was new ). Parts of the frame had to be cut off and replaced. You can't even tell where the new welds are. The truck tracks straight down the road. When you shine a bright flashlight on the replaced and repainted areas, you do not see two different paint jobs. The truck looks like it came off the showroom floor. My wife's BMW body shop couldn't do that a few years ago. I cannot say enough about honesty and integrity in the way they treat people and get the work done correctly.”

“On a road trip, I got a flat on the interstate and AAA could only put my spare on, not patch the tire. So I drove to Mc Coy’s and the tire was too damaged to patch so they sold me a new one. Arrived 15 mins before they closed for the Fourth of July holiday weekend and they graciously stayed to help me. Lovely mechanic told me about the tire and how she was balancing it. These kind folks turned a bad situation into a pleasant experience! Would have given 6 stars if I could. 10/10 would breakdown nearby again”
