“I visited the Harrison post office and Supervisor Michael assisted us. He spent hours helping us and fixing a problem we had been dealing with for over a year. His attitude and professionalism are incredible: kind, understanding, direct, and always attentive. I truly wish all post offices in Rockford had leaders like him.
Michael helps and understands everyone who comes in with a problem. Even while he was helping us, there was a line of people waiting for him, and he treated everyone with the same respect and dedication.

“Service has always been great however today there was a huge line and only one lady working so she was swamped so no fault of hers but I was there only for a stamp and as I was looking around while standing in the line I seen a machine that said self service postal so I wondered if I could possibly get a stamp so I walked out and gave up my place in line but I was lucky enough that the machine did a number of things including swelling however many stamps and you want which is also a good thing I just needed one and I didn't want to buy a book of stamps considering I don't mail a lot of letters so I'm so glad I found that machine which got me out the door probably at least 35 to 40 minutes faster and yes the line was out the door and why only 4 stars today ,someone in charge should have made sure she got helped”

“Managed to get in on a quiet afternoon. Interesting location because of how the streets are in this part of downtown, but it also leads to an abundance of places to park, once you know where the building is.”
“Jackie is the only clerk working at Poplar Grove and I’m sure it’ can be overwhelming. The question is why is there only one person working there. I think she does an amazing job. She refers people to Belvedere where the Supervisors are. They have access to the sites to assist customers. That’s what they get paid to do. She’s doing her job!”

“The people behind the counter are slow but this place has never lost a package. The PostMaster also helped me locate a package that was stuck at another facility due the label partially ripping off. I see some people say the people behind the counter are rude. I haven't had that issue but I don't do counter activities all that much unless I really need to. I also haven't had passports done there, etc. which I would recommend doing at Walgreens or the like. You can even do that online (renew) nowadays. Check it out.”
