“I visited this store for the first time today 06/17/23. What a cool and terrific idea to have a Spanish version type store that puts you in the mind of The Sweet Factory and FAO Sweets (TAKE OFF OF FAO SWARTZ) of yesteryear and a place which is huge in NYC and now in Chicago called ITS SUGAR. There is a huge variety of candy in the store with plenty of empty Piñatas to choose from. My only complaint is a better spokespersons for the store to bring the buyer/newbie in on these delectable delicious treats. I am not Hispanic or Spanish speaking SO with that being said I am NOT familiar with what these candies have to offer. I sure I am NOT the first to enter the store or look outside the window and go what kind of merchandise is being sold here?!! U want this store to be popular and have some longevity then U have to put yourselves out there a little bit. Granted the loyalty U get from your own can easily be a given but why not think outside the box just a little. Think in terms of the bigger picture because I have tried the Spicy Lollipop years ago back in the 90’s from a Co - worker, who was Mexican. It was actually pretty tasty and so was the popsicles. U might want to branch out this uniquely brand of retail shops SO the masses can probably enjoy. MARKETING MARKETING AND HOW U MARKET IS A BIG PLUS WITH SPECIALITY SHOP LIKE THESE. Someone has already mentioned Samples tasting in the store, promotional cards like Fannie Mae, the local newspapers, TV stations and radio, Social Media, Social Media and more Social Media, more importantly develop a relationship with Bureau of Tourism - TOURISTS FROM THESE SPANISH SPEAKING COUNTRIES OR OTHER COUNTRIES!!! YEAH A BETTER SPOKESMAN OR SPOKESWOMAN IN THE STORE WILL GREATLY BE APPRECIATED.”

“My first time going to this location, after it being stationed at this address for years was back on April 15, 2023. The person serving candy on this day was lady by the name of Max. She was nice, hospitable and just a consummate professional. Because the second time I came to this location (ALMOST A WEEK LATER) the same person Max was there to service candy to the customers on this day. I usually visit the location downtown (NORTH MICHIGAN AVENUE) because it is bigger store with more of a variety but if I am ever in need for chocolate in the future this will probably be my go to location seeing is most locations are starting to close, again makes me filled with SADNESS!!”
“I absolutely love everything about the Nuthouse!!! I order from them the best quality nuts and zaatar! In my latest order I ordered some chocolate ? and I am absolutely in love. Best pistachio chocolate I have ever had. ? The quality chocolate and the size of the chocolate is just perfection. I also tried their turkish coffee and it is fresh and wonderful! Customer service is top notch as they called me to communicate one of the chocolates I ordered was out of stock and to see if i wanted a replacement. That surpassed my expectations and I will be ordering again soon to spread my love for the nuthouse to my family! Thank you for providing us with quality nuts/fruit/chocolate and beyond to give us the feel of overseas for reasonable prices. ”

“I have been a fan of their chocolates since my days as a Catholic elementary school student awhile back. As one would expect, some of their items are sold in bulk and at a reduced price for various reasons. However, the wonderful employees of this shop are helpful and will allow you to try a sample before you purchase. If you like it, good! If you don't, you don't! The store is very clean and neatly organized. I have never had a bad experience shoppping at this outlet store.”
“This was a nice little candy shop. Parking can be confusing but make sure you read the signs. I just parked a couple mins away on one of the side streets, where it said free parking for 4 hrs. Just to be on the safe side. The staff was very kind and welcoming. They have a good selection of the bark candy including the popular lemon bark and English toffee. Don’t forget you can also sample them before picking one. I sampled the dark chocolate mole and roasted almond sea salt bark. Both of the barks weren’t too sweet. I recommend coming here either when they open or early afternoon, traffic could suck especially if you take the tollways. Prices are reasonable for the high quality ingredients.-Dark chocolate mole 5 - if you smell it before eating, you can catch a whiff of the pasilla peppers that went into these. Not spicy at all but you do get a very mild, subtle after taste. Good blend of spices. I recommend getting a sample.-Coffee crunch 5 - I’m not a coffee person but this was delicious. Toffee and white chocolate had a creamier taste than the other two.-Mini cookie crumble 5 - can’t go wrong with mini. It’s like eating. Nice prominent mint smell and flavor combined with that nice crunchy taste.”
“What a wonderful place! I was searching the Chicagoland area for "custom piñata's" for my 6 year old son's "skyscraper" themed birthday party. I didn't think I'd find a custom John Hancock Center pinata, but lo and behold, the amazing folks at Pinatas & More came through and did an AMAZING job creating a custom piñata of a John Hancock Center replica. It was well made, reasonably priced, and was ready when they said it would be. What a great store/service!”
“Went in on December 11, 2022 around 2:30 pm. Candy was delicious. However there was a very rude middle-aged African American lady working there. She was middle to heavy built with short, over bleached blonde hair. She shouldn't be allowed to work with customers. (Not being racist-- I am also a middle aged African American)”
“My employer sells Argires products in our cafeteria in Pennsylvania. Probably the best cheddarcorn I've ever had in my life. I've never been a huge fan of caramel corn, but for some reason I really like the way Argires makes it. If I'm ever going to or passing through Chicago I'm definitely going to come check this place out and stock up. Very tasty!”

“This store takes me back to my childhood, the cups and bowls made from barro (clay) like my mom used in her kitchen long ago. A variety of piñatas and "Mexican" candy to fill them. Wooden utensils and large ollas (pots). I will mostlikely return again and again, the owner is helpful & friendly too.”

My husband and I were so overwhelmed by all of their products and we kept asking for an additional ounce or half ounce of something, we kept adding to our order, and Maricela was more than nice. I ordered chocolate covered strawberries and tons of nuts!”
“Nice store, good service, organized, clean and convenient. Treats are good too. They have a good sugar free selection as well for those who must have sugar free. In the stockyards right off of Pershing. Great little break stop for those who work in the stock yard. I recommend checking it out if you're in the mood for some sweets.”

“Terrific place. A throwback. I generally get chocolate covered Apricots. Pretty regularly. I travel from Burr Ridge every 10-14 days for these and generally a couple more things. Great people own and work there. Worth whatever distance you need to travel.”
“Big daddy’s is by far the best fudge I’ve ever tasted. My favorite is the chocolate jack. Melt in your mouth creaminess, with the warmth of the whiskey. I give it as gifts and that’s the one everyone wants. Delivers every time!!!”

“Brand new candy store just opened up. Mainly Hispanic candy. I tried a free sample by the lady out in front so I visited the store and checked out all the candy they had. I love all the variety they have though most of it is stuff that I find familiar. It's finally great we have a candy store for the first time in a while at the mall.”
