“Matcha latte here was pretty good. I would say it was a bit too milky for me but I could still taste the matcha decently well. Their standard blend is easy to drink: smooth and slightly grassy with a subtly bitter and astringent end.”

“Absolutely love Extra spearmint gum sticks. I have been chewing it since it first came out. It truly never loses its flavor or texture. I just wish you guys would use Xylitol or Erythritol as a sweetener instead of Aspartame. That way people can enjoy this fabulous gum while keeping their teeth healthy. Aspartame may be a good sugar replacement,but it causes damage to the tooth enamal and causes digestive issues. Please reconsider your sweetener . Other than that, awesome products

“Walking into this place honestly felt like entering a candy-themed amusement park. The store is massive, colorful, loud in the best way possible, and packed wall-to-wall with every type of candy, chocolate, soda, novelty snack, and childhood throwback you can imagine. Whether you’re going in for something specific or just browsing, it’s almost impossible not to spend way more time than planned because there’s constantly something interesting catching your eye.
What I liked most was the variety. They have everything from classic nostalgic candies to giant oversized treats, imported snacks, funny gifts, and those ridiculous sugar creations you didn’t even know existed. The layout feels chaotic but fun — almost like a treasure hunt. My kids absolutely loved it and honestly so did the adults. It’s one of those places where everyone suddenly becomes 10 years old again.
The location itself also adds to the experience because being in downtown Chicago, the energy outside kind of matches the vibe inside. Touristy? Absolutely. Overpriced? Also yes. But somehow you still leave smiling with a bag full of things you definitely didn’t need.
A couple of small downsides — it can get extremely crowded, especially in the evening, and some items felt unnecessarily expensive even for novelty candy standards. The checkout lines also moved a little slower than expected. But overall, this place isn’t really about practicality — it’s about the experience, the nostalgia, and the pure overload of color and sugar.
If you’re visiting Chicago and want something lighthearted, fun, and a little chaotic with the kids or friends, this place is definitely worth stopping by at least once.”

“This store takes me back to my childhood, the cups and bowls made from barro (clay) like my mom used in her kitchen long ago. A variety of piñatas and "Mexican" candy to fill them. Wooden utensils and large ollas (pots). I will mostlikely return again and again, the owner is helpful & friendly too.”
