“Hands down my favorite Black owned Thrift store! You can’t beat these prices. The owner Jeremy is awesome and he has a great staff as well. You can find men & women’s wear, small housewares and beauty products carried in store (from other businesses). That’s not all, he has a beautiful space he rents out for your event needs. Definitely a place to put on your list to shop, and have a party too.”
“Our salesperson Toleda was fantastic. We came in with an idea of what we wanted but when we told her about the room, she made some different suggestions. What she chose was perfect for the space. There was a few hiccups with communication from the delivery department but ultimately the furniture came when promised and we're so happy with it! The delivery team was top notch as well!”

“I was on a mission to find a recliner to take home the same day and I walked into the store and was greeted by Daniel F. who was very nice. I told him I was looking for a recliner to take home and he showed me one that was marked down on clearance and it just so happened to work perfectly for my needs even though I wasn't looking for a power recliner but it was just to nice to pass up on. I purchased it with a 5 year warranty because of it being powered and got it loaded up with Daniel's help and it was appreciated. I would suggest having more furniture that can be purchased and taken at that moment. Consider a clearance room of furniture that can be purchased and taken now. Thank you”

“Store was enormous, clean and orderly. There was even a Halloween-appropriate terrifying noise going on in the back of the store. It sounds like a very large, angry animal was trying to break out of a plexiglass cage or something. Really put the Halloween spirit into the atmosphere. Will visit again. “read about a basement sale, thought I'd stop in. bunch of quirky used fixtures and such in the back and checked out the front of the store, chock full of doo dads, what nots and such and such. nice assortment of stylish and artsy stationery items with the modern woman in mind. staff was welcoming, greeted me and asked to help. told the young lady I was looking for "cute stuff" (from their advertising slogan) and we shared a laugh. nice little spot to browse and find what you're not looking for.”

“A fabulous boutique shop locally owned by the sweetest couple Heidi and Scott Morrow! They have a great selection of items for the home and I always find gifts here. Its a smaller shop so it never overwhelms you but selection is very intentional. They also have a rewards program which is really nice for frequent shoppers. They own the Alley Shop around the corner and host pop ups and the most amazing Santa Experience as well. Highly recommend stopping in!”

“I would like to start my review by saying "HELLO DARLING." This was an interesting shop for me because I was unsure whether this shop would have anything for me. But, upon suggestions, I ventured to this shop. I was in this area previously but never knew that there was a hidden gem (shop) in the area. Where were you "The Darling Shop"? Upon entering the store, the store associate welcomed me by placing a white disco ball necklace around my neck (I felt like I was given a medal for partying hard lol) and handed me the goodie bag. She was sweet and patient. As a part of the event, the goodie bag had white disco ball necklace, pink disco ball drink tumblers, facial cleansing wipe, nail polish and some stickers. She explained to me a little history about the store. It blew me away when I knew that this store sells their goods from local area small businesses, people etc. The Darling shop is a stage for all these mini businesses where every product is made with minute detail. This was my first surprise. The store had party stuff, women's fashion, baby stuff was on the right side from the counter, home goods, sunglasses on the left side to the wall and many more. There was one section where they had various kinds of greeting cards. There were a variety of things in the store. My first look was that it was a store for women but as I went around for a bit then it was eye-catching when I saw they had a small section for men which was my second surprise. They had Men's accessories, clothing, and grooming. Upon looking, I bought a black pair of socks for myself. To sum up, the store was cool with such a variety of daily goods. I could not get to meet the owner NIKKI, but the store instantly gives you happy vibes with all the positive quotes around the store and for the stuff they are selling. I also checked out their website which was great, but the only recommendation is it would be nice if the font color is white (other color) on top and bottom of the website as it can be more visible. I would recommend my friends to explore this store. Lastly, for me, THE DARLING STORE = INSTANT HAPPINESS.”

“?? Hey fellow Google Mappers! ☺️ I’ve been to this Ross location so many times and found so many good deals. Friendly staff, great inventory, & prices you just can’t beat. I’ve been to other Ross locations and I’d have to say this is my favorite one.
⭐️ Customer Service: The staff are always friendly and welcoming. I always get greeted when I walk in and it feels nice. Keep up the amazing work! From time to time, I’ll have returns and the associates are always patient with me whether it’s me trying to find the paper receipt on my pocket or purse. The line to check out tends to be really long on the weekend, so I’d suggest maybe at least 2-3 cashiers on the register on the weekends at least to reduce the waiting time in line and a smooth & fast checkout experience.
? Bathroom: The bathroom is located in the back of the store. To use the bathroom, you have to notify the security or an associate since the door is locked by a pin pad. I’m assuming this is to prevent someone from stealing which is good, but interesting that the Marshalls in the same plaza isn’t locked.
? Merchandise: This Ross location has great inventory. I’m not sure how often they restock their merchandise, but I feel like every time I come, I see something new or there’s a different set up especially if a holiday is coming up like Valentine’s Day, Christmas, etc. they have a dedicated seasonal section where they have items based on the season. I have a pair of UGG boots, Nike shoes, Puma shoes, and more from Ross. You can also find some good cologne/perfume here. My boyfriend is plus size and unfortunately their plus size inventory is very limited, so you are definitely better off at Burlington. Kind of random, but they sell Funko pops and DBZ figures.
?️ Overall Experience: Overall, I always have a great shopping experience at Ross at the Chicago Ridge location. The staff are friendly, great inventory, & affordable prices.
