I recently went to AMC 21 in Chicago and it was honestly one of the worst theater experiences I’ve had. The place is falling apart. Not only did I notice a bucket catching water from a leaking ceiling, but it was splashing every minute at me as if the problem had been going on for a while and nobody cared to fix it.
The bathrooms were flooded and completely unsanitary. To make things worse, the staff acted completely checked out like they were high or just didn’t care about anyone’s experience. When I asked for help, I was brushed off as if I was the problem.
This theater is dirty, rundown, and clearly not being maintained. It honestly shouldn’t even be open in this condition. Between the ceiling leak, the flooded bathrooms, and the useless staff, I feel like I wasted my money.
This location is in such poor shape that I’m disputing the charge for my ticket. Customers deserve a safe, clean, and professional environment not a building that’s literally breaking down with staff who act like they couldn’t care less.

Trying to get a hold of AMC is like chasing a ghost impossible. Your so-called amc“store” doesn’t even deliver to the U.S., which is laughable for a company based here. Then there’s AMC 21…what a disaster. I dropped $62 that day only to feel like I was sitting in an alleyway instead of a theater. Absolute robbery for that kind of “experience.”
And your staff? Let’s be honest they looked and acted like they’d just stumbled out of a bathroom stall after a bad choice. Unprofessional doesn’t even begin to cover it. AMC, you should be embarrassed to charge premium prices for bargain-basement service and atmosphere.

Everything is good, excellent laser projection screen plays the big star Indian movies here but felt the sound is not extra loud.

Good experience. The washrooms were not very clean but the theatre experience was good. Use the App to book show.
If you are carrying a water bottle then there is a water fountain to fill water, you do not need to buy water. The popcorn size is big and worth buying.

My go to place. I try to visit at least twice a month. Love the seating, and the snacks area staff are really helpful. Gives a comfy feeling with the recliner and heated seats.

Generally a great theater.
The Dolby theater desperately needs a remodel to bring it up to date with the rest of the theaters. Several of the chairs no longer recline like they should and they just look worn in general. If you want a premium theater I'd recommend Prime over Dolby for the time being. Also, the exit lights in the theaters are way too bright. It's very distracting and causes a glare on the screen.

Fabulous Cinema! Never been in a cinema that had three floors and also in a skyscraper. Very cool place with very good service. Comfortable seats and huge screens! Love this place!!

Long story short double dipped and manager called within 12 hours as she read some script at me. They must get plenty of callS on this topic as it sounded rehearsed.
two transactions at the bar as we were hanging in the pool area. It was not busy yet understaffed but was willing to wait. Three receipts with each transaction. Bottom one is itemized and only one that mentions the auto matic gratuity. top two are identical. has a line to add gratuity. 40 plus percent gratuity on drinks I ordered and took to my table and then our food of pizza and appz came out with no napkins. no plates and no condiments. was there anyone to ask about these? nope, since the food was dropped off at the pool table next door and not our party.

This was a really lovely theatre and had comfortable seats and self serve sodas. I watched freakier friday and really enjoyed my experience.

This is a large theater that is very clean. Walk in and take the escalator up till you get to the box office for tickets.
There is an arcade with a bar and a standalone bar as well. You can bring your drink with you into the movie.
The prime theater we went in has large seats 💺 and it was very spacious. I’d come back here.
Also, it started raining out of nowhere and ppl came in to escape getting drenched. They were all welcomed with no one trying to push them out.
