Was lied to by staff to make a sale. I was in Chicago on business. I was told if I bought my wife a new iPhone that dayI could call customer service for them to send me a label to return my wife's old iPhone when I got home and get a credit on my card for the trade-in. That wasn't true. I was told I would have to drive back to return the phone.

I’m honestly writing this out of exhaustion more than anything else.
I came to the Apple Michigan Avenue store for what should have been a simple battery replacement on my iPhone 14 Pro. Instead, it turned into weeks of stress. When I picked up my phone the first time, it had scratches that weren’t there before. The senior manager even confirmed the technician failed to take the required photos before the repair.
I live in Champaign, so every visit meant hours of driving, missing work, and spending money on gas and parking. I ended up going back and forth three separate times because each repair created a new problem. After they fixed the scratches, I discovered dust under the front camera and a blurry telephoto lens at 3× zoom and above, issues my phone never had before Apple touched it.
By the third visit, I was just tired. The manager acknowledged the new problems, but the way I was spoken to felt dismissive. After everything I went through, I was told the only option was a refurbished replacement and that there was nothing more they could do.
I’ve always been loyal to Apple, and I never expected something this simple to turn into such a stressful experience. I really hope this store takes more care with repairs and with how they treat people. No one should have to go through this much trouble for a battery replacement.

They had me wait to hours just to tell me to come back the next day. I left 2 hours before they’re store even closed.

Worked with three Apple technicians trying to reset my passcode. The first two just walked away in the middle of the process without saying a word. The third suggested that I go home and try fixing the problem myself. What a major waste of time going to the store. This is not the first experience there with incompetent technicians! Very frustrating.

Everything was good until phone customer service cannot help or trying to transfer you to someone else probably abroad.
This location is normally had great service but it’s a 4 star simply due to the customer service via phone.
Then having to come down in person for the second time for the same thing.

It’s a big store with a lot of helpful staff but be prepared to wait in line if you do not have a previous reservation

I was attended and dealt with by this girl name Yazmine.. she was such a nice and helpful worker and recommended me to get apple care and both apple devices i purchased and kept our conversation going.. i was visiting the city and decided to head to that apple store specifically and met her. Yazmine has such an sweet soul and great personality

Amazing staff. Charlie was great, So polite, helpful and very knowledgeable. My wife's phone screen was malfunctioning. The same day within 2 hours my wife's phone was fixed at no charge. Our appointment was later in the day and he moved us an hour early. Axel was also very polite and helpful. I really recommend this place. Thank you again..

Worst pick up experience ever my lightning cable that was already ready for pickup few days ago but I got to the store wait where they told me to wait and after waiting for 45minute i went back to the line by the stair case and he was like you have to stay where you were told to stay, but I was like I’ve been there for 45 minutes. What do you mean? I didn’t move an inch I only came to speak to you because I’ve waited for too long trying to make it seem like it’s my fault. All right, I’m the problem is ridiculous after Wasting my damn time I don’t like the customer service. I’ve literally been here since 11:30am for 45 minutes and they told me to wait somewhere, but nobody came up to me to attend to me. It’s just a waste of time and I’m still here trying to speak to someone else. I’m just trying to pick up my charger that has already been ordered and ready for pick up so it shouldn’t take that long. Everybody seems to be busy but they’re not doing anything. What’s the point of having a business if you’re a customer and not being seen and attended to.
