Dear Apple Customer Relations Team,
I am writing to formally file a complaint regarding the treatment I received at the Apple Store Lincoln Park while requesting copies of receipts for previous purchases, which I had unfortunately misplaced.
During my visit, I was treated in a way that made me feel uncomfortable, judged, and questioned, as if my request were suspicious or inappropriate. What should have been a simple and legitimate request escalated unnecessarily, involving four different employees, which made the situation even more distressing.
The attitude and behavior of the staff made me feel as though my honesty was being doubted. As a long-time Apple customer who has purchased multiple devices over the years, this experience was deeply upsetting and unacceptable.
As a Latina woman, I felt discriminated against and unfairly stereotyped. I approached the situation respectfully and expected to receive the same professional and dignified treatment that any customer deserves.
Apple is a company that publicly promotes diversity, inclusion, and respect. Unfortunately, this experience at the Apple Store Lincoln Park did not reflect those values. I respectfully request that this incident be reviewed and that appropriate action be taken to prevent similar situations in the future.
I appreciate your time and look forward to your response.

the employees very helpful, attentive, knowledgeable and dedicated
the store has a good amount of employees there 👍🏼👌🏼
the store has a lot of different iPhones, iPhone types, iPhones different generations and numbers
the store also has different charging accessories there and the store has different accessories
the store has sitting available, sitting charging available, and the top trending things like the virtual microscope eye new thing out and they let you test it out there and try it out there

I wish I had read the reviews about the rude staff before going to this Apple Store. I came in for a phone swap, and everything started off great. The first person who helped me was friendly, we chatted a bit, I wiped my old phone and I got my new phone without any issues. But things went downhill fast once it was time to set it up.
The person assisting me with the setup was extremely rude. My old phone was my only verification method, but since it had already been wiped, the new phone kept asking for verification through the old device. The Apple employee actually got annoyed with me about it. He gave me attitude because I had to re-set up my old phone just to access the new one. I ignored it at first since it wasn’t a big deal to me, but clearly it was to him.
After I finally verified everything and started setting up the new phone, he began telling me that I shouldn’t update to the new OS next time because it “causes issues” and I’d “lose everything.” By then, I was fed up with his attitude, so I left the store and restored my phone at home using my own WiFi.
I can’t identify him exactly since this happened a few months ago, but he wore glasses and was around 5’7”–5’9”.
Of course.. everything was backed up, even on the new OS.

I scheduled a battery replacement in advance and was given an appointment last Thursday. When I arrived at the store, they told me I had to wait 5 days for my phone battery to be replaced, because they said the phone parts were just arriving. Their tech staff promised me that before Wednesday I would receive an email or call from them. Because I told the tech staff that I have an international flight on Thursday. Now I will be traveling without my phone battery being replaced. A billion-dollar company, why is its service like this? ridiculous

Rude staff specially the short african american dude with beanie and glasses acting like he owns the place walking around and the lady with the boy cut. I was trying to return my phone for a different color but they said I cant and they were very unprofessional explaining things to me and screaming at me, I just left because everybody at the store was looking at them while they’re explaining things to me. I went to a different apple store and got what I need to do. I’m sure the other staff are nice. I hope they could see this review and be professional on their job.

Came in to buy an iPad. When we were ready to make the purchase, we had to wait 30 minutes for someone to come help us, even though there were 6 people standing around chatting with each other. We found someone and told them we’d like to check out, he said he’d send someone over, 25 minutes later we are still waiting, so we check in with him again and he says he’s waiting for someone to be a available, there are 6 people not doing anything! He goes and talks to a group of 4 people and one comes over 5 minutes later. The first guy and the woman who eventually came over were pretty rude, and not helpful. It really feels like Apple retail relies on the cult following and status of their brand to sell product, not actual customer service. If you’re not locked into Apple, don’t bother, and especially not this store.
