I went here to use the ATM that is located outside and it turns out that it is shut off after 5 P.M. every night. Waste of 30 minutes of my life. I can't believe that it is so hard to get my own money out when I want it. It should show on the app and on google that this location does not have a 24 hour atm.

I personally want to compliment BMO Harris (99 W. Washington St., Chicago, IL 60602) and their team members (definitely including, but not limited to, Mr. Alejandro Munoz , Ms. Athens Beasley, Mr. Tyrone Parks, and Ms. Taylor Heard). They are professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and welcoming. Their attention to detail in providing their services is exemplary of what I would hope to receive at any business establishment. This talented ensemble deserves every reward that'll surely come their way, as I look forward to there progress and our continued business.

I had the worst experience at this bank. I went to the branch to apply for a secured card, but the bank sent it to my old address. When I asked them to resend it, they told me to prove my identity at the branch, even though it was their mistake. I went to the branch with one piece of ID, but they said I needed two pieces of ID to update my address. After going back with 2 pieces of ID, they told me to call the credit card company to resend my card. When I hadn't received the card after 3 weeks, I called the credit card company and they told me to go to the branch again to prove my identity. I was frustrated by this. After waiting for so long, I decided to close all my accounts with them, only to find out at the branch that they had cancelled my card without informing me. What a waste of time. I would never want to deal with this bank again. Their service is the worst. I spent 3 months just waiting for one secured credit card.

Utterly useless!
As a 20-year business client of BMO, we made our first visit to Chicago last week. Happy to see a BMO branch, as we had a local supplier invoice to pay in US funds. Bank agent "could not find" our US$ acount, even though I was able to put it up on my phone to share the details, and even though our entire corporate cash holdings were sitting in our CDN$ account which they had clear access to, would not facilitate the provision of any funds for us. Their last suggestion? I consider wiring funds from our Canadian account into our US account. When I asked about the logic of wiring funds to an account THEY COULDN"T FIND, their blank stare said it all. Left the bank with no access to our BMO-held money, and has me seriously questioning the actual usefullness of these branches.

This is by far the worse bank you can have, please don’t do it!! Every time I tried to used my card was blocked for fraud alerts even if I was buying at the gas station, now my account is under review and can’t access my money for up to 30 days, after I have submitted all possible ids and utility bills, don’t open an acount here!!!!! Now I have no money to use!! And I called multiple times and they hang up and refuse to help me.

Went in today to buy Euros and update my ATM card. Teller was great and I had my Euros in 5 minutes. She told me she would let customer service know about my request for new ATM cards and to take a seat. After waiting for 25 minutes I went back to the teller for an update. After checking with 'someone' in the back she came to tell me that they couldn't open the card for my son and it is at least another 30 minutes before someone can see me. Why couldn't they provide that information up front and why are they not following up with the customer directly. It used to be the Main branch had great customer service - not anymore.

Crooks. We pay and overpay our account and they do not reduce our principal at all. Any time I call I get transferred multiple times and put on hold and end up even more confused than before I called. Will not be doing any business with them as soon as I get a credit union to take over my loan , BMO is not trustworthy

I have been trying to resolve an estate matter with BMO/Harris for several months! The service is inconsistent from one branch to another. The bureaucracy is outrageous. I would never open or maintain an account with this financial institution. My issue still isn't resolved, and I am exhausted by them. Customer service representatives are essentially useless.

This branch has glass walls and glass door after enter through the revolving door. Whoever decided to install the glass walls and glass door didn't think things through. It is confusing to find the glass door.

Not particular to this bank but bmo only allows a car loan payment and then you can’t submit another payment within 2 weeks.Why? I should be able to pay on it when I want to. It causes people to say forget it and end up spending it, or have to be on the phone forever with customer service, and/or ultimately cause people to lose their cars. A shady policy that needs to change and that impacts millions of customers.
