Byline Bank offers nothing, but bigotry!!! I went to get paperwork notarized regarding my son with special needs. Not only did the employee mess up the paperwork, she used whiteout then scratched it off. THEN she made a rude comment about my son having special needs!!! I contacted corporate and instead of apologizing they MADE me close both of my accounts that I had with no problems for about 15 years because I called the employee a monster!!! The whole corporation is a bunch of bigots!!!

I had a situation where I needed to urgently get something notarized, and I stopped at Byline Bank to see if they could help. They told me I needed an account, and I asked about opening one on the spot; they said I needed $100, and said I could get it out of the ATM, which I did. Then, I walked back in, only for them to tell me you had to have an account for 30 days, after I had PAID A FEE to get the money out of the ATM. Horrible customer service!

It's a shame; nice people working here but the bank policy is horrible. After months of waiting outside to get into the Vestibule (masks on) they opened the inside again. When I got there and was about to go through the vestibule and into the bank I was blocked by a security guard and told to take off my mask so they could take my picture before going in. The irony of being told to take off the mask then put it on again (after you're inside) to get through the next door was absurd, invasive and felt like I was in Venezuela or China under government duress. In spite of a pleasant, helpful staff, I'm moving my accounts to Chase or another convenient bank as soon as we roar out of 2020. I don't trust corporate BYLINE in the least and according to accumulating reviews I'm not alone

Bank is still garbage. Noone in drive thru and was not addressed. 3 staff inside drive thru area. Noone in drive thru but me and lobby closed. One woman walked by the window and left to go sit down and drink some water. She looked Hispanic. I waited so long I ended up leaving as I was going to be late for work. April 20th 2020. 3:30 pm.

Really wish I never used this bank. They don't seem to care about the user experience or their customers at all. Last year they changed over their online banking platform making it nearly unusable. Their technology is awful and it's like pulling teeth to get anything done. I advise anyone to stay away, especially for business accounts.

This is the very worst bank I've ever dealt with, They have no idea what they are doing, Their technology is terrible and they seem to really hate their business customers. Avoid these guys if you need to run a business, too. If you like to waste time and work with incompetent people, this is the bank for you.

I wish I never wasted my time working at this bank. Although Training was good and you get to meet some nice people. I worked at the Headquarters on North Broadway. There are two woman that have been there for years and they are lazy. They claim they want you to ask questions but in all honesty, they have already judged you based off your age and the thing you wear. Tekela McKinney just wanted to sit at her desk and not do anything(which is her job), Dolly flirted with every customer, and delivery guy that came in the bank. Allen Wright, the Branch manager, gives his closest favorites weed alcohol in his office. He and assistant Joanna, leave for hours at a time and engage in a lot of NON work activities. If the women don't like you, you're out! simple as that!! This bank is dirty, very unorganized, the HR sucks! because they all knew each other for years, so YOU don't matter at all. Allen Wright only protects himself. He's over the Bernie Mac Foundation, if ppl only knew how he is really. He is a snake in a suit.

I've been a customer at this bank for many years - way before the name change to Byline. What I like most is their personal customer service. They totally know their customers and will call you by name once you come in a few times. I also like that this branch has a lockbox vault in the basement. This isn't well advertised so you have to ask about it. They have a dedicated team that works this area and like the tellers upstairs, they'll get to know you. Finally, if you make a deposit into the outside overnight deposit box, they'll acknowledge the transaction via mail - and include an envelope so you can do a mail in deposit. I can honestly say I've experienced nothing but friendly service.

I've been an account holder since 2000. NCB and now Byline. They've always done right by me, even with the occasional overdraft mistake. On 1/13/2018 their fraud department declined a fraudulent transaction and called me immediately to verify whether it was actually me trying to use my card. It wasn't. Well done!
