“Delicious and friendly
The peanuts are very fragrant and the cut peanuts are crispy
The whole store is filled with the aroma of chocolate, which makes you happy”
“Huge convention center! Very well maintained, good location near public transportation. I was here for MRO Americas, a big commercial aviation show. Disappointed with restrooms though, only at one location so you have to walk a lot to get there.”
“Worth going to from anywhere!!
Visited their store at 1140 W. Exchange Ave for the first time and I wasn't disappointed. My Store Assistant, Malu, showed me the variety of nuts, candies, gift packed and bulk items as well as novelty candy items from loooong ago (wax mustache, candy cigarettes, etc.). I'm so impressed by the cleanliness of the store, the helpful and pleasant staff. A definite AAA++++ place to go to treat friends and family (and yourself) ? I'll be back !!!”

“This is my favorite candy shop in Chicago for myself and my kids! The staff is very nice to my kids and they are always offering up new fun items. My favorite is the chocolate and peanut butter graham cracker truffles.”
“Nice store, good service, organized, clean and convenient. Treats are good too. They have a good sugar free selection as well for those who must have sugar free. In the stockyards right off of Pershing. Great little break stop for those who work in the stock yard. I recommend checking it out if you're in the mood for some sweets.”
“Great customer service!! Large variety of different chamoy candy. Everything is delicious top favorite are the gushers. Once you start you can’t stop. Have been a customer since he first started his business!”
“Simply put - I just love Royce!
If the Gods wanted chocolate, I would give them the address to Royce. This Japanese chocolatier has managed to marry the art of chocolate making with science and produced some unbelievable chocolate products.
If you love chocolate, you absolutely owe a visit to Royce. Amongst my top preferences are Nama, Bar Collections (strawberry, fruit bar, pistachio) and chocolate coffee beans. I do not have much of a liking for Matcha so have not tried that. The Rum and Raisin bar chocolate is fantastic as well.
Do try this out and you will not regret it t.
PS: Nama needs to be stored in the fridge, yes fridge! ?”
“It was a wonderful treat to get these amazing fresh chocolates made less than a week from Switzerland. They tasted fresh and as amazing as having one in the mother country.”
“Absolutely love Extra spearmint gum sticks. I have been chewing it since it first came out. It truly never loses its flavor or texture. I just wish you guys would use Xylitol or Erythritol as a sweetener instead of Aspartame. That way people can enjoy this fabulous gum while keeping their teeth healthy. Aspartame may be a good sugar replacement, but it causes damage to the tooth enamal and causes digestive issues. Please reconsider your sweetener . Other than that, awesome products
Dietary restrictions: No sugar”
“Holly, Jolly, Trolley!
Sounds a lot like Christmas fun!
Count me in!
I read all of the fine print and explored the details. Tickets are FREE which is absolutely thoughtful during this holiday season. Way to give back Fannie May. Thank you.
Headed to the store on Michigan Ave. right after work, showed my QR code to one of the cashiers and was given a ticket. So excited, I really was a kid in a candy store. We all were told to wait and someone would come and get us for the trolley ride.
It wasn't long before a gentleman entered wearing a bright red jacket and led us to the beautifully decorated trolley. Christmas lights and bulbs everywhere. Garland and tinsel strategically placed. Filled stockings and candy decor spilling out of bags. Mini trolley cars and candles. Let's not forget the theme music.
Our tasting conductor along with his assistant cheered us on by engaging with a bit of historical candy trivia. We were each handed a four piece box of chocolates for a tasting. Our ticket was stamped after each candy. Photo opportunities are everywhere.
The trolley makes four stops, you can get off at any one of the four stops. You can even stay on for the full forty-five minutes.
The tour ends back at Fannie May. There is a 10$ coupon attached to your ticket that can be used at any one of the stores. It expires on Christmas Eve.
Beautiful, fun holiday experience.
Hoping everyone that wants to do this gets a chance to. Friendly staff, nice music, good company and rich chocolate. AND it’s FREE!!!”
“I love the smells here ! I was Greeted with a smile and a welcome by a lady named Pauline, I believed. Thank you for all your help & the recommendations in the store and in Chicago.”
“Wonderful little store in a fun part of town that offers DELICIOUS ice cream, as well as very nice sweets and chocolates. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable, and they seem to know their stuff when it comes to what they have to sell and how good it is.
My partner super loved the ice cream and equated it to her favorite ice-cream place in Missouri. We’ll definitely be coming back for more when we visit the area.”
“The store had a variety of Mexican candy, piñatas, games and more! Customer service was awesome! Thanks Chelly for helping with party ideas! I hope to return soon!”
“My too go place for chocolates. I love to bag myself the flavors I like and in the amount I need.
The store is filled with candy boxes, candy bags all very beautiful and some with themes like birthday weddings, graduations new babies. That set this outlet apart. Those ladies behind the counter will steer you right if you are planning a big party or a celebration.
They have forgotten more about chocolate than I have ever known.”
“Everything you need for Mexican parties! Irons, plates, glasses, spices, candies, piñatas , etc. If you love to entertain and cook, they have your pots for tamales, discs for tripes, and plates for tacos.”
“Its so nice and cozy in there, and there's a wide variety of candy choices for incredibly cheap. Your able to get multiple pieces of candy for a $1.50. The owner of the store is so nice and sweet, and she overall makes the place so much better. For sure my new favorite candy place, and I will be going again. I recommend this place to any candy lovers.
Kid-friendliness: the owner is a literal sweetheart to any kids. I love her so much.”
“We ordered Nutstop because we were looking for a healthier snack option for the kids during sports games. We are pleasantly surprised! Nutstop is so good! They have so many options and we have found ourselves eating nutstop for all our snacks! They have so many options. My kids love the chamoy rings and the watermelon slice gummies. We have also been snacking on the healthy nut mix and moms favorite the milk chocolate Almonds. They have great prices and the quantity is alot! Definitely recommend.”
“Their nuts tasted so good in my mouth. It’s like you don’t even want to swallow, you just want to suck on them. I’m definitely going back and letting their nuts come into my mouth again!”
“It’s time for my annual family reunion & I was looking for a piñata for the festival! I google and found a wonderful place Dulcelandia! I am thankful the service was awesome! And a large variety of authentic culture candy! I will return soon”

“Love the shop and extensive selection of bourbon. They always have buffalo trace for a decent price. They’re dog friendly and have the most adorable shop dog named Nala:-)”
“If you want to buy jelly beans, this is a good place. And if you want to eat bears different from those in Spain, try the cherry and mango ones, they are exquisite!!!”
“Cute and busy place (we were there around 4pm on a Friday). Tons of import candies, from every flavor of Kit Kat, to pick-a-mix bulk candies wrapped and unwrapped.”
“Excellent place to make the piñata of your choice, they do an excellent job, it totally met my expectations and I thank them very much for their kindness and attention, many blessings”
“It took a while to find, but I was happy to find cute bags and, other kawaii stuff there. Everything was very reasonably priced, I was having a lot of trouble with my wallet at the checkout the lady at the counter helped me! I told her I had autism and I have a lot of trouble organizing, she smiled and said it was no problem. Unfortunately on my way out, my bag hit the shelf and knocked off a poor little bamboo from the self and I felt so sad, and offered to pay for the broken plant, she declined and went to clean it up. I was so nervous I asked over and over I could at least pay her, but she kept saying no I left feeling so embarrassed and sorry.
I hope one day I can go back to pay her…
but if the lady at the shop ever sees this just know, I loved your store and hope to go china and Japan one day and I wish you the best of luck for your Business!”
“Friendly staff that treats you like family! It is rare when I write a review about a place that I actually like! I love Villa's Nuts & Candy. My husband and I were so overwhelmed by all of their products and we kept asking for an additional ounce or half ounce of something, we kept adding to our order, and Maricela was more than nice. I ordered chocolate covered strawberries and tons of nuts!”
“I can’t say enough about my experience! Easy, professional & expedient. As a busy CEO, I’m beyond grateful to the whole team for their dedication to great customer service. THANK YOU!!”
