“What a wonderful place! I was searching the Chicagoland area for "custom piñata's" for my 6 year old son's "skyscraper" themed birthday party. I didn't think I'd find a custom John Hancock Center pinata, but lo and behold, the amazing folks at Pinatas & More came through and did an AMAZING job creating a custom piñata of a John Hancock Center replica. It was well made, reasonably priced, and was ready when they said it would be. What a great store/service!”

“My first time going to this location, after it being stationed at this address for years was back on April 15, 2023. The person serving candy on this day was lady by the name of Max. She was nice, hospitable and just a consummate professional. Because the second time I came to this location (ALMOST A WEEK LATER) the same person Max was there to service candy to the customers on this day. I usually visit the location downtown (NORTH MICHIGAN AVENUE) because it is bigger store with more of a variety but if I am ever in need for chocolate in the future this will probably be my go to location seeing is most locations are starting to close, again makes me filled with SADNESS!!”

“I absolutely love everything about the Nuthouse!!! I order from them the best quality nuts and zaatar! In my latest order I ordered some chocolate ? and I am absolutely in love. Best pistachio chocolate I have ever had. ? The quality chocolate and the size of the chocolate is just perfection. I also tried their turkish coffee and it is fresh and wonderful! Customer service is top notch as they called me to communicate one of the chocolates I ordered was out of stock and to see if i wanted a replacement. That surpassed my expectations and I will be ordering again soon to spread my love for the nuthouse to my family! “I grew up coming to this store as a kid. My mom would always let my sister and I spend $1.00 and man in the 90's that went a long way. And we also used to get our chocolate Santas, reindeer, and Christmas trees from here every Christmas too. (Santa knows what is good chocolate lol). And now that I am a mommy it's so amazing to be able to take my daughter to the same candy store I frequented as a child. “The parlor is famous for good reason. It celebrates the visitation of the Beatles when they came to eat back in 1965, so it's been operating for several decades. There was quite the line to wait in in order to sit down. The portions come with a great helping, a side of chocolate drizzle and a wafer. There are more varieties but there is very limited seating.”

“I stop here religiously every time I come to Chicago. The staff members are not consistently knowledgeable but they are always super friendly. The space is quiet and small. I wish it was a little more alive with how great/hip all their products are. 2/3 times we were offered samples. All of their products are delicious and fare well as gifts. I have never had anyone disappointed with a gift from here. A little overpriced on the holiday items but everything else is priced well for the quality of chocolate. The refrigerated chocolates melt in your mouth but for obvious reasons aren't great for traveling.”

“My father started going here at least 30 years ago for peanuts for the squirrels. Before he died he made me promise I would continue. My family has had this building since 1922. So now I go here for squirrel food too. They specially order the peanuts in the shell with no salt for me. For the squirrels you say??? Yes! When they couldn’t get the nuts during the pandemic, I ordered from Amazon. Easier? Sure. But I got food moths galore!!!”

“I have been a fan of their chocolates since my days as a Catholic elementary school student awhile back. As one would expect, some of their items are sold in bulk and at a reduced price for various reasons. However, the wonderful employees of this shop are helpful and will allow you to try a sample before you purchase. If you like it, good! If you don't, you don't! The store is very clean and neatly organized. I have never had a bad experience shoppping at this outlet store.”

“This was a nice little candy shop. Parking can be confusing but make sure you read the signs. I just parked a couple mins away on one of the side streets, where it said free parking for 4 hrs. Just to be on the safe side. The staff was very kind and welcoming. They have a good selection of the bark candy including the popular lemon bark and English toffee. Don’t forget you can also sample them before picking one. I sampled the dark chocolate mole and roasted almond sea salt bark. Both of the barks weren’t too sweet. I recommend coming here either when they open or early afternoon, traffic could suck especially if you take the tollways. Prices are reasonable for the high quality ingredients.-Dark chocolate mole 5 - if you smell it before eating, you can catch a whiff of the pasilla peppers that went into these. Not spicy at all but you do get a very mild, subtle after taste. Good blend of spices. I recommend getting a sample.-Coffee crunch 5 - I’m not a coffee person but this was delicious. Toffee and white chocolate had a creamier taste than the other two.-Mini cookie crumble 5 - can’t go wrong with mini. It’s like eating. Nice prominent mint smell and flavor combined with that nice crunchy taste.”

I can’t say enough about her exceptional customer service from the moment I walked in the door. Great store with too many great candy options. “The Wrigley is a historic skyscraper on N. Michigan Ave. just north of the Chicago River. Built between 1920-24, it is an elaborately designed building with two towers connected by full second floor and higher floor covered bridge. The towers are 21 stories and 30 stories in height. The south tower has an embedded clock face on each side and spire. It is an impressive skyscraper that fits nicely within the Chicago Skyline at the Magnificent Mile and Chicago River.”

“I went to Teuscher Chocolates in Chicago to check out specifically their champagne truffles. They were truly awesome!! However, I was disappointed to learn that they don't make most of their products on-site, they're more an outlet for European chocolates. They were fine but not really special, especially for the price. The shop is charming and the gal working was good, professional... maybe pack my selections better, $84 tossed into a Chinese food container, cute & practical but a bit clumsy. Go for the champagne truffles, the rest... ”

“I am an over the road truck driver in a class 8 sleeper truck and a 53' dry van trailer that delivered here today. The gentleman in receiving Carlos Marquez was very friendly and very helpful and helped direct me while doing a difficult blind side back into their dock off of the road. He unloaded me quickly too. I'd be happy to deliver here again. Next time I will call them first and they will help stop traffic and I will pull forward into Home Depot parking lot and back down the road and do a driver's side back into their dock and I suggest my fellow sleeper truck drivers do the same.”
