Had to exchange USD to Mexican Pesos physical currency and Connie W, Amjad S, and Kasia P came through in a pinch! Very helpful and polite! Explained the exchange rates and loved not having to pay any fees since I am an account holder. Will come again for any future transactions such as these for upcoming vacations abroad!

Santander Bank is my mortgage company. When I closed my escrow account, they reimbursed me the remaining balance of $2421.04 via check. I promptly deposited the check into my TD bank account and less than 5 days later found out that it was a bad check. After making multiple calls between Santander mortgage company and Santander bank locations, I was able to find out that JPMorgan Chase was the issuer of this check, and that they are the 3rd party Santander goes through for such things (as that is who owns them commercially). I am told that I have to now reach out to Chase to see what can be done - since they were the issuer of said check. I go to a Chase branch and am told they cannot recognize either the routing or account numbers (although my quick Google search came up with Chase Bank via the routing number provided on a check). Indicated that I need to go BACK to Santander to have it resolved. Something is wrong with this picture. Not only is someone illegally keeping my funds, but they are committing fraud via bad checks. At this juncture, NO ONE wants to step up for this issue and I am out of $2421.04 right after Christmas.

Don't bother going to the currency exchange here. Long lines, poor attitudes, lack of resources. How a bank of this size doesn't have most major currencies is beyond me. Save yourself a trip and try somewhere else.

The most luxurious Chase branch I have ever been to. It is on the ground floor of the Chase Tower. Bankers are very professional, nice and helpful. Meeting a banker at this location makes you feel that you are a truly valued customer. I guess I will just keep going to this branch for any potential appointment with a banker during my years in Chicago even though I do not live or work downtown :) You know, to feel comfortable when doing business does matter a lot!

Oh, where to begin... I turned the other cheek when Chase stopped taking coins a while back. No problem, I'll just pay the Coinstar fee, I suppose. Then Chase started closing down many branches, putting many people out of work and further inconveniencing me. Still, I put up with it, even though I come from a family of bankers and saw them suffer multiple layoffs over their careers. I feel my time with Chase is soon coming to an end this time. It's not just the long lines at the branch or the fact that they use people who don't understand English at their call centers. Chase used to be so good when I first opened my account with them over 10 years ago. What happened?? Well, they no longer care about fraudulent charges on customer accounts anymore. Strike 1 was when a home warranty company scammed me. Strike 2 was when Comcast was double billing me from 2 bank accounts. Both times, they took the money from the fraud right back out of my account, costing me even more money and frustration. Well, here we are at Strike 3, which they only have a few days left to rectify. I am literally out of patience with them at this point. This was over a 600 dollar charge for something that was not delivered. I even went to a branch to have them fax photo evidence to their so-called claims center only to find out days later that they never received the fax. No problem, I'll just go to a fax center and get a confirmation on the fax. I mean, I have already wasted many hours of my time on this. I should bill them my hourly rate for wasting my time. Let me tell you, the young kid in his early 20's at the fax center was far more competent than the Chase employees. So once again, Chase has my money tied up (this has been ongoing for months), and it is becoming too costly to do business with them at this point. I am tired of the "suprise" of having fraud charges reversed constantly. I just fired Chime for this a few months ago. I really hate when you are on hold for 20 to 30 minutes and have to hear their "hold recording" state that they care about my business when clearly they do not!! After reading the reviews, I see that I am not the only person they are screwing over by allowing fraudsters to just keep the money they steal. I wish Chase would just stop wasting my time...

DO NOT ENTRUST YOUR MONEY TO CHASE BANK! Somebody fraudulently wrote over $800 worth of checks against my checking account, using the mobile deposit app. The one where you take a picture of the checks and deposit them into your account without having to go into the bank. The checks deposited were bogus as hell! They were from some obscure unknown "TV" company, which were printed on copy paper! They were made out to me, and the "signature" on back was my name in a computer generated FONT! Did Chase tell me about it? Nooooo! I found out when I went to take money out of the account the next day to spend on my trip, and was met with a -$800 balance! The bank closed my account and said I had to pay the money back! After days back and forth, I was finally able to open another account, but not after my direct deposit was cancelled and I wasn't able to straighten that out for an additional 2 Weeks! (1 week due to my getting COVID.) So I opened a new account on this past Tuesday, FINALLY depositing TWO PAYCHECKS drawn on CHASE BANK, Thursday I went on the app to Zelle a coworker money, only to find out my account has been restricted, will be closed in 10 days, and THEN I will be sent a cashier's check! The kicker? NOBODY CAN TELL ME WHY THE ACCOUNT IS RESTRICTED OR CLOSED!! I talked to customer service (Ha!), the fraud department, fraudulent checks dept., and the branch manager, who even escalated my concern to Chase Corporate (A joke), and still no one could see in the system the reason why my account was restricted pending closure! . At this point I just want my money so that I can put it in my brand new accounts with United Credit Union. The customer doesn't mean jack to Chase. I am being penalized because they didn't protect my account from fraud, and now I must wait almost a week for them to release MY money, which came by way of my payroll check which was drawn off of a CHASE ACCOUNT.

I've been at this branch for over 20 years and I will never go to any other to invest my money. The team members are professional, go above and beyond to present to you a plan that best suited your financial needs. The Chase corporation is one of the largest financial institutions that provides excellent customer service to the client

Because I'm unable to rate the company as a whole, I have no choice but to choose a location. This is what I think of your transaction fees in relation to Venmo. Go figure it out with them instead of dinging the customer $10 every time. I'm leaving Venmo and I'm leaving you.

I have been Chase Bank for over 18+ years. First they sell my mortgage to another lending which I have never heard of before and I fight to find out why after being a faithful clients for over 15+ years. I still banked with Chase and have 5+ accounts savings and checking but now I am ready to move from Chase to another bank that will protect my money. I don't have a Chase credit card ending in 5170 and Chase has allowed a 100.00 payment to be taking out of my account. I spoke with a representative and was told that the credit would be back in my account the next day. The next day the credit was not in my account and after speaking with several departments, online banking, credit card, checking account, I was told that it would be 16 days to receive my credit. I received the credit but they have now reversed the charge again. I will not accept someone taking money that they did not earn to pay their Chase credit card and it was not approved by me. If I do not receive my 100.00 back, I will be on every website, Facebook, etc providing a bad review as to how Chase treats their loyal clients.

Poor customer experience and treatment received by banker Connie Walksler. I was expecting a warm, professional environment and it was definitely the contrary. This specific banker needs more training on wire transfers to Mexico especially, the lack of knowledge made me feel unsure about my transaction and business. She eventually helped me with this transfer but I left feeling not confident and uncomfortable.

They no longer provide medallion signature services. Clearly a waste of time coming to the largest branch in Chicagoland. They did get an additional star as they authoritatively said that chase does not provide.
