The Academy's school day consists of academic periods followed by a three-plus hour immersion in a student's chosen arts department: Dance, Media Arts, Music, Musical Theatre, Theatre, and Visual Arts.
The Academy is described as a community like no other, where kindness, generosity, and genuine support are experienced from the first moment. The teachers are dedicated to guiding students to their full artistic potential. It is a home-like environment for students, families, and employees, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Chicago Academy for the Arts truly changed my child’s life. The instructors are beyond amazing and the school set my child up both emotionally and physically to pursue their dream in dance and have a world of options available.

I am a current student in the music department at the academy and I love it. This school has changed me a lot, helped me grow not only on my instrument but in social crowds. The teachers and staff are really supportive and love what they do in the academy and what they teach.

Our daughter’s experience has been absolutely wonderful. We weren’t totally sure what to expect, but we have been impressed and delighted again and again by her teachers and classmates. This was the best possible decision our family could have made for her education and arts career!
