Chinese Mutual Aid Association (CMAA) is a community-based social services agency located in Chicago and Elgin, IL helping the low-income immigrant and refugee community. CMAA offers services for the community spanning several generations including after school, youth tutoring and mentoring, English as Second Language, computer skills, citizenship and immigration, employment and job placement. The Small Business Development Center provides no-cost business advising and connection to funding. A wide array of social services are offered: housing, energy and health care assistance. CMAA is particularly proud of its senior services, including a robust in-home care program.
The services at CMAA were great! The staff members were helpful and friendly. Especially, the receptionist Hai. She was patient and truly listened to my needs. I really appreciate her help!
