Truly the worst experience I’ve ever had renting a car . Wait time over an hour . Ask why the long wait was told that they had no cars , so I would have to wait. Over hour other customers reported experiencing the same problem and went to another rental company and was on the way to pick up their rental took 5 minutes . Never again Dollar car rental

this has to be one of the worst rental places i’ve ever been to. i was waiting for over an hour and a half and we asked when they thought the car would be ready they told us it will be soon so sat a back down and ive been sitting for another 30mins. a different costumer came up to me and my family and told us he was waiting and told us he had to give up and rent a different car online and he was done in 5 mins. and to top it all off they told us they’d didn’t even have cars here and ready. please don’t ever go here the wait to get a car your already supposed to have is insane. -1/10

I don't know why so negative reviews. I was in an out in less than a 10 minutes. The car was spotless, and well maintained. Picked up at Midway and dropped it off in Indianapolis. The price was unbeatable. 5 stars all day every day!!

Rented a car from Dollar Car Rental and had a good experience and would recommend them for anyone needing a vehicle. The reservation was made online and ready when I arrived, the car was clean as a whistle inside and out and returning the vehicle was quick and easy.

Felt super rushed when checking in to pick up my vehicle , mind you there’s no one behind me, counter lady pressured me to get roadside service($10 per day) and pay a toll for everyday when I said I was driving to mke . It’s $15 a day for the toll pass and I’m only driving to mke today and Sunday it’s almost $75 in fees when if I just do by the day I’d only be out $20, then she kept pressuring me to do the premium coverage and then got an attitude with me when I said I didn’t want it and asked what would I do if I got into an accident and how would I be able to pay for it. I said I would pay for it and then said with what? When I had a moment to sit down an hour later to review the charges I called customer service they said I’d have to drive back to the rental service to get a new vehicle and talk to the person again. I already started the drive to mke and am driving to a family event and don’t have the ability to. Super crappy service and bogus add-ons

I rented a car at Midway (Chicago) and I had a perfect experience! Every employee was helpful, it was really fast and efficient and very reasonably priced. I’m sure I’ll be happily renting from Dollar Rent-a-Car again.

Prepaid for a vehicle. When I arrived at my appointment they said they don’t have any vehicles but will have one ready in 45 minutes. It’s been 2hrs and we’re still waiting. I’ve missed important meetings downtown. Pretty frustrating.

The wait for a reserved car is ridiculous. Was told a 45 min to a hour wait. I’ve been sitting here for over a hour. This is not how things should be ran. People are here on vacation or to spend time with family. I booked through a third party so I have to wait it out. Lesson learned never again.

Would give them 0 stars if possible. DO NOT COME HERE. You have been warned!
A reservation was made for 9 am. We were told there was a wait time of 45 mins - 1 hour due to no available vehicles. Another employee also stated they only had 1 person on a Saturday cleaning cars that had just been turned in. We arrived at 8:45 am and it is currently 10:30 am with no update on the wait. They need to be more realistic wait times stated upon check in with the customer service agents. There is also insufficient seating in the rental car area so people have to stand for HOURS! This is ridiculous would not recommend you will experience this exact same thing I promise you.
