Ashley was the best customer service / store manager I’ve interacted with at any business across the country in 5 years. To put that in context, for the past 4 years I primary deal with small businesses for a living. She should be promoted, recognized by corporate for excellence, and given a raise and a Christmas bonus. I stored my stuff in ATL GA during pandemic and was having a little PTSD remembering the variety of options you can buy online and how it can go wrong when you show up to be surprised. I wanted to see a unit my partner was considering. She explained the pricing and showed me around. I knew it was too large but wanted to check it out anyway and asked their advice. I also asked her about wrapping a couch and her and the other gentlemen were helpful in understanding why you wrap a couch to keep it clean and why the storage facility might make a light grey couch dirty and less valuable for resale if you don’t. She even helped me understand in detail how people might find a drive up unit at other stores further north, by their partner company which might also have options she could look up! It was all super helpful for making a decision. In the end, I still somehow goofed when purchasing my unit online later that night (like a darn fool) but next day she was able to help me fix my mistake and transfer to the right unit which I booked for 4 months to lock in a price I’m really happy with and wanted from the beginning (knowing myself and that I’d rather forgo a 1 month special and lock in the set price for the security of having the space if I need it later and downsizing as I sell furniture). My partner and I were confused by the hold online that night, which we didn’t realize I was making online and messed up thinking the unit we wanted was gone, so in a flurry we each made another separate booking. Basically, we were a huge headache for them and Ashley was patient and helped me fix our mistakes! I could tell she even gave up her lunch break to wait for me to show up to sign the transfer paperwork. SHE GAVE UP HER LUNCH BREAK PEOPLE! what else can I do to repay them?!?!?!? Go now!! Go to this store over the other stores! I promise it’s the best one. I’ve been to a lot. It’s super clean, it felt safe with lots of dollys, so far no critters though I haven’t been at night with lights out..the bathrooms are clean, and easy parking so far. Again, I just cannot say enough good stuff about this store and this interaction. Now, I can channel all this energy now into the work I do in the community on my nights and worry less about moving and storage. To the people I volunteer for and the boots on the ground, that matters double. Thanks so much again Extra Space Storage! Now promote Ashley to the next level, please. she deserves it! And give her a raise!

Update as 8/2024: haven’t even been at that this facility for 3 months and happened to peak at my account (pre-paid 4 months) and my rate for the first month out of that will have nearly doubled. With no notice to me that there has been a rate change. No upfront notice that this would happen (but oh it’s buried in the agreement - sorry this is something you as a leasing agent should mention). It’s a scamy tactic used. Next time make sure to mention things like this UP FRONT.
Ashley came in clutch when some items wouldn't fit into my new apartment. So helpful and patient!
