Kukulu Market is a wonderful little Ethiopian market and a great shop for coffee. It offers a good selection of varietals, including natural/unwashed coffee, and sells green coffee beans that they can roast. The market has authentic spices, regular gluten-free injera made in Ethiopia, and everything for preparing authentic Ethiopian and Eritrean meals. They have proprietary berbere spices, serving ware, and other African and Middle Eastern items. The owner is super helpful, courteous, welcoming, very kind, and friendly. Customers find it a legit place, a treasure to the neighborhood, and the place in Rogers Park for Ethio spices, with very good prices on delicious groceries.
