Dr. Charita Smith has a holistic approach to eye care that I value; she is thorough, explains every detail, and makes sure she evaluates changes in vision in light of the patient's medical history. It is well worth the 70-mile round trip to see her! I am always impressed by the LensCrafter team-- special thanks to Destiny for all her help!

Dr. Smith did not tell me when tests cost extra. I did not even get a copy of my prescription; she had me take a picture of my prescription. She essentially forced a contact into my eye during my lens fitting and wanted me to sign off on being trained before I had gone through the training. I left without contacts because of how uncomfortable I felt during the interactions. Also, at most places they will offer to tighten/clean your current frames but that did not happen here. It’s a small thing but makes a big difference in service. I’m sure the prescription is fine but I will be getting my lenses elsewhere — with my PICTURE of a prescription.

I had an 1230 appointment on Saturday, August 9. I was there 25 minutes early. I walked around tried on glasses. No one greeted me. No one said can I help you they were walking around talking making phone calls I cannot believe the service I got as soon as the gentleman Walked in of another race. They greeted him immediately. I cannot believe it. I couldn’t believe I was treated this way!

Dr sandy and the team are amazing! Best experience ever at an eye doctor. They were super helpful with finding my lenses for me and I would def recommend them! Frank and dr sandy are the best!

Frank , was an exceptional sales associate. He took
two hrs to help me find frames and he really went above and beyond. Customer service is a rarity and he is the exception.

Dr.Smith is very professional and at the same time she cares very much about the eye health of her patients . The other staff is also very supportive, patient and thorough. It is a great team there at the Lens Crafters Macy's on State Street.
