The cosmopolitan is joining the MGM and therefore also Marriott. You're able to use your Marriott points as well as get points for your stays. One issue is that they don't have the self sign in to check into your room so there could still be a very long line. When I came I got in here at around 2:00 a.m. I waited about 3 hours for a room but they were very apologetic and wasn't the fault of the staff and they made it up by copying the suite that you could see in the video I posted, which is absolutely beautiful as well as giving me some resort credit.

My recent stay at the Marriott Marquis in Chicago for a work event exceeded all expectations. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was greeted by an ambiance of elegance. The rooms were impeccably clean and well-appointed. A standout feature was the hotel's impressive gym. It's not often that you find a hotel gym equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, but the Marriott Marquis went above and beyond. The fitness center was spacious, well-maintained, and offered a wide range of equipment, making it easy to maintain my workout routine even while traveling.I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking to indulge in a sophisticated and comfortable stay in the heart of Chicago.

Amazing experience booking the City View (Corner) Classic Suite, it was worth the cost in my opinion. Luxurious, clean, Best Skyline View - like WOW! Quality of room service food was 2/10 at best. I attended a Karol G concert at Soldier Field and it was within walking distance to the field. Overall would stay here primarily considering the room and experience.

The hotel has 39 floors and rooms with all sorts of amenities. Nice gym and many restaurants. It has shops as well. Service is good but don't ask to split a bill! Apparently no one there had ever heard of it. Hahaha They get super confused and make a mess out of the bill.Rooms: Beautiful, spacious, and clean rooms. It's actually quiet at night!Noteworthy details: Beautiful view!!!!!

Lovely hotel, but there are quite a few elements that were clearly designed with an eye for style over comfort. The first and most obvious is the hotel lobby: The towering wooden walls around the elevator bay are visually impressive, sure. But on one side of the elevator bay, the tall wooden walls create a hallway so narrow that guests with luggage have to squeeze around each other to get to the elevators. The second is the room itself: Why on earth would y’all place the desk as far away as possible from any electrical outlets? It’s a good thing that I travel with my own extension cord, or else I wouldn’t have been able to use my laptop on the desk! The third is, strangely, the lack of luggage stands in the rooms. I would expect a cheap hotel to not provide a luggage stand. But I was shocked when my expensive Marriot room didn’t have one! I guess somebody decided that an item as convenient and practical as a luggage stand was worth sacrificing to maintain the ultra-modern (ugh) aesthetics of the room.I called the front desk and asked if maybe there was a luggage stand hidden somewhere in the room. The person whom I spoke to said no, the rooms didn’t have luggage stands, but I could ask to have one brought to my room. So I did. I waited half an hour, but nothing arrived. So I went down to the front desk to ask for a luggage stand. I was told to talk to the valet. I went to the valet, and asked him for a luggage stand. He thought I was asking for a luggage cart. I tried to clarify and explain what I meant. The valet was very friendly and was clearly trying to be helpful, but he had no idea what I was asking for. The valet went to talk to another employee, who finally went and grabbed a manager. The manager told me that the luggage stands were in a special storage area that only one dedicated employee could access, and she would ask that employee to bring me a luggage stand right away. After waiting another 15 minutes, I finally had my luggage stand. All in all this entire process took about an hour. Just to obtain one simple, convenient little thing that should have been in the hotel room in the first place.I feel bad for making the staff go out of their way just to get me something so simple. But. Why aren’t the luggage stands kept in the rooms? Why have them in a “special storage area” solely to inconvenience the (apparently) only employee who can access them? I don’t understand why a hotel would want to turn what should be a standard feature in every room into a miniature ordeal for both their employees and their guests.I want to be clear that every staff member who helped me obtain my luggage stand was incredibly friendly and helpful. The staff here are wonderful! But the hotel itself suffers from some unfortunate design choices.

I liked the room: well laid out, comfy, accommodating.$6 for water seems excessive. Hint: download the Bonvoy app for free wiFi.

Pros:Felt upscale.Front desk staff was approachable and helpful.Room felt clean.Heater and AC , worked fast!Chargers next to bed useful.Cons:The beds are incredible basic and not hotel cozy like .I must say whoever design the shower I hope they are proud of how unnecessary difficult they made it .The lobby is giving airport lines all the time not enough staff for guest support . same with customer service over the phone. The location is good for business but know you will be 30-40$ Uber to main Chicago attractionsThe room service was served like a take out low quality presentation . Pictures attach , the BLT tasted good. And server was very friendly and nice. The burger was awful and they don’t even offer fries? Who sells burgers with no fries? Anyway , both breakfast and dinner room service was so bad.The water in the room is $6 and nothing in my mini fridge.

Very nice hotel. Pleasant and helpful staff. Great breakfast buffet that starts at 6 am. Pretty good gym with machines and free weights. Fast elevators. To be improved:Dinner offerings are mediocre. That said, lots of options nearby plus delivery. Gym needs a Concept2 rower instead of the Life Fitness rower. One of our pillow cases had old blood stains. WiFi is quite slow. Woven and Bound: morning greeter and several of the waitstaff just look unhappy. Cheer up.

I recently stayed at the Marriott Marquis Chicago this week for the Innovation Schools Summit and had the best experience! I roomed in 1435 and the room was breathtakingly beautiful and quiet! You walked in and entered a common area with a coffee pot, small fridge in the cabinet, little desk area, a spacious couch and chair with a TV and two ceiling to floor windows. Then, you walked into the king sized bedroom with one floor to ceiling window, a TV, King sized bed, closet with two drawers, hangers, an ironing board and iron, two bed side tables, chair and table, and the alarm clock had a couple of charger options. I believe there should’ve been a phone next to the bed that wasn’t there, but there were two in the common area. The bathroom was connected to the bedroom with a sliding door, two sinks, a beautiful mirror, bath/shower combo with two different shower options, a hairdryer, along with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash bottles with pumps in the shower. The ballrooms we had our sessions in on the 2nd floor, 3rd floor, and 4th floor were just right! The staff was very helpful when I was looking for different things around the hotel like the bathroom on the 2nd floor. Our guy who checked us in and out was super kind and helpful on Thursday and Saturday. The refreshments and snacks they set out during our conference were perfect. I absolutely enjoyed my stay and hope to visit again in the future!

This is by far thee most unorganized and un-friendly Marriott I have ever stayed at.The front desk staff at check in was nice enough but after that point it all went down hill. The management seems more interested in gossiping and glaring at guests rather than doing the job in which they are employed to do. The housekeeping situation is so bad that I made up my own bed and had dirty towels pilling up because they couldn’t be removed from my room. We booked two king rooms that were supposed to be connecting but was given one room with a king and the other one with two queens. Excuse given was, they cannot guarantee room type. I wanted to book an Airbnb but decided to give this Marriott a try because its where our conference was being held. I won’t ever make that mistake again, this was by far the worst Marriott I stayed at.Walkability: Not close to city center. Only convenient to conference center.Noteworthy details: Avoid this Marriott.

Honestly we just weren't comfortable here. Both nights we slept terrible. The bedding was too small for the bed so the fitted sheet kept snapping up. The sliding bathroom door providing little privacy. The room was clean and check in/out was efficient.

Spent three night here. Hotel, rooms and restaurants were great. Most staff were great too. But this front desk person was too busy to answer my question. She sent me and another two guests over to the other line which already had 8 people in line.
