The Marriott Marquis Chicago is a hotel noted for its spacious, clean rooms with spectacular views and very comfortable beds. It is described as very nice, with a great view of Lake Michigan. Its major highlight is its excellent location for conferences and events, being very close to the McCormick Place convention center, with convenient access via pedestrian sky bridges. It is considered a fantastic venue that can accommodate large groups. Many guests found the hotel very clean, with great amenities and accommodating staff who provide responsive service. The experience is often very comfortable, with easy access in and out. However, some aspects received criticism. The location, while perfect for conventions, is noted as far from the city center with little gastronomic offer nearby. Some guests experienced issues with unexpected charges at reception despite pre-paid reservations, and found the friendliness of some receptionists improvable. Additionally, the room rate is considered high for not including breakfast, and the coffee served has been poorly reviewed. Despite these points, many visitors would definitely stay again.

Marriott Marquis is a crown jewel of the brand, and this hotel is everything it should be. Bright, clean, comfortable rooms, great furniture and fixtures, quality beds and linens. The lobby smells amazing, the staff is great. The best Marriott I have stayed at in years.

Outstanding hotel. Room with great view of skyline and the lake. M club is the best in US in my opinion. Selection and service from Maria in Lounge and the other staff just outstanding. Thanks for a great visit
