Hours: The Morgan Arts Complex is a historic 150,000 square foot event, gallery, and artistic space in Bridgeport, Chicago. Established roughly a century ago in 1925, the venue was recently remodeled in December 2021 under new ownership. It offers a versatile and beautiful space with multiple rooms, an outdoor patio, and is adorned with a variety of incredible artwork. The staff, particularly the manager Morgan McLaughlin, have been described as very polite, helpful, and accommodating, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for guests. The on-site Dolce Arte restaurant has also received praise for its catering and liquor services. While the venue is generally well-received, there have been a few instances of unpleasant odors from the neighboring building and a large police presence that disrupted the festive atmosphere. However, the overall consensus is that the Morgan Arts Complex is a fantastic art experience and a trendy new gem in the Bridgeport neighborhood, perfect for hosting events, parties, and gatherings.
