The ceviche was as tasty as my favorite from my recent trip to Peru and the other two courses were equally wonderful. Already thinking about what my next culinary adventure will be here.”

“We take our 8 month old puppy, Rocky, here for boarding and love it so much! You can tell they love all their dogs and take such good care of them. They do so many fun additional activities for the puppies (like pool days and splash pads on the warm days) & post so many pictures and updates of your pup. Rocky gets so excited when we drop him off-we travel a lot so it’s so nice knowing he is in good hands here :)”

“Working with Paris312 for our corporate event was an incredible experience from start to finish. Communication was top notch — Nicole was highly responsive, organized, and wonderful to work with throughout the planning process. We were presented with many beautiful floral options and ultimately combined elements from two different looks to create something that fit our vision perfectly.

We also took advantage of their à la carte entry signage add-on, along with setup and teardown services — all completely seamless.

Then came the event itself — and wow. The florals absolutely blew us away in person. They were a beautifully subtle and elevated addition to an already great atmosphere, serving as the perfect finishing touch for our event space.

Would hire Paris312 again in a heartbeat. Beautiful work, exceptional service, and a truly stress-free experience.”

“We just had my nephew repast there and the place was great had speakers and TVs at the request of your agreement so if you need it speak up, its very spacious and the owner communicates very well and will try his hardest to accommodate almost all request within reason. The place was clean and we will use this space again that's for sure.”

“Loft Lucia is such a beautiful space in the heart of west loop. The staff is tremendous, and management is quick with any response needed. Highly recommend for wedding receptions or any big gatherings.”

“The theater is beautiful and the sound is great. The bartenders are also great. However, the merch room is a nightmare. The line was eternal and stretched through the venue for the entire show..
It was just a very uncomfortable situation..
But, I would go back for another show..”

“We fell in love with Firehouse upon our first visit. The building has great bones with timeless wooden elements that encourage minimal decor. The courtyard, accented with flowers and ivy-covered walls, was the perfect setting for our cocktail hour. The upstairs space is impeccably appointed and offers a salon and two suites - we found these extra rooms to be great for taking a beat. Our guests raved about the beautiful venue. We would be remiss to not shout out Sarah and Teddy, the amazing event coordinators. From the initial planning stage through to our reception, they were highly communicative, organized, and resourceful. We dropped off our decor a couple days before the event and the Firehouse team took care of the rest. During our event, staff worked efficiently in the background to ensure everything went smoothly and even packed up our car at the end of the night! Truly a seamless experience. We can't recommend Firehouse highly enough!”

“My first time at Him & Her Vintage was for my book club meet up. It is such a beautiful space. You walk in and you feel at home.

When it came time to plan my Sister-in-Law's baby sprinkle, I knew I wanted to have it here. Thankfully, the day I had in mind was available. As soon as the guests arrived, they complimented the space and decor. I didn't have to do much besides set up food and games.

Myriam was so easy to communicate with. She answered any questions I had. I can't wait to host another event here.”

“I’ve never seen a vintage spot with as big of a selection as this place. We found a phenomenal MCM cabinet that we now use as a bar in our dining area - very fairly priced and the staff was helpful with loading it into our truck. So many great items!”

I love how the venue coordinated their linens and table decor to our color theme. Will definitely book our next event here again!”

“I had never been to the Chopin Theatre before. We saw the one man play, "Royko: The Toughest Man in Chicago." The theatre was fantastic. There literally wasn't a bad seat in the house. The people working there were friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Cozy and intimate apty describe the Chopin. Parking can be challenging, but there is plenty of street parking around the theatre. Just download the ParkChicago app and feed the meter right from the lobby. It was a great experience and I would definitely visit again.”

“Incredibly pleased with having chosen Ovation as our wedding venue! Spencer and the whole team were professional and responsive and made the planning process easy. The space is set up for smooth transitions between ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner. Fun bonuses that made the night extra special include the photo booth, Rolls Royce, and graphic design services. We also appreciated that a Style Matters DJ is included in the venue rental price and DJ John did a great job. Many of our vendors had already worked at Ovation and all were excited when we said it was our venue. Ovation had everything we wanted and more!”

“The National Puerto Rican Museum in Chicago is a hidden gem in Humboldt Park. The only self-standing nationally accredited museum in the U.S. dedicated exclusively to Puerto Rican arts. Featuring vibrant diasporic art, rotating mixed-media exhibits, and a beautiful outdoor garden that is perfect for a quick, culturally rich afternoon. I'm fascinated with it every time I visit. New exhibits are routinely introduced, and the museum is home to yearly festivals that are always a great experience. On top of everything it offers, the museum remains free to enter. I highly recommend making the day of it.”

“We hosted our wedding at the Fairlie at the end of May this year. Alison was absolutely incredible in her responsiveness, consideration, and eagerness to help in preparation of our wedding. The walk through was so smooth, and the day of the wedding was absolutely impeccable. Even with the new remodels in the space, everything was absolutely STUNNING. Would absolutely go back + do it all over again at the Fairlie!”

“An AMAZING venue! The space is light, airy, and cozy while offering so much potential for customization. With many services being BYO, each event holds uniqueness and intimacy. The addition of provided DJ services, a photo booth, and design services, among others eased stress. The patio area is such a nice space for a little escape and offers a great area for kids to play. The staff was responsive and timely. We are grateful for their assistance in making our big day a dream come true! 🤍”

“We had our wedding at the Joinery at the end of June this year, and we couldn’t be happier with how things went! Shay, the venue manager, is so easy to work with and was super responsive to all of our questions both before and after we booked the venue! She also had so many great vendor recommendations for us, which was helpful as it can be overwhelming to figure out where to start when looking for the various vendors you’ll need for a wedding. The space itself was perfect for our group - we were around 95 total, and we held the ceremony, the cocktail hour, and the reception onsite. There are so many separate spaces that you can use in so many different ways, and the bones of the venue are really beautiful as well, particularly the stunning patio! They’re also always working to tweak and improve the venue. It’s such a warm, beautiful place to get married and celebrate with all your loved ones. The inclusion of the apartment above the venue in the venue fee was really nice, and we also rented the Mill House next door which was sooo convenient for planning and executing the wedding. We are so glad we chose The Joinery for our wedding - we can’t recommend them highly enough!”

“My husband found this place for our daughters second birthday party, and let me just tell you what a hidden gem this is. Tia, the owner was extremely professional and responsive to my questions as I tried to nagivate this birthday party. She was very informative and gave me information that was very detailed and didn't leave any room for miscommunication or speculation. If i had any questions, she answered them timely and patiently. The day of the party, our hostess, Ilze was just phenomenal. She helped us set up and was just all around an immense help. The play area and bathrooms were spotless and up to par with an establishment hosting little kids. The space was perfectly set up as to where the parents could sit and watch the world cup game and still be able to see their children playing without ease. The space was safe for our kids, especially at their age, and i really loved that there were cameras in the area to protect our kids and the establishment. All around we were very impressed and it was a lovely birthday! We will be returning on a regular basis. Thanx guys”

“This was our first time in Chicago, and I honestly feel like The Langham was a big part of why we fell in love with the city. Our room was beautiful, the city view was incredible, and the service was excellent throughout our stay. We also really enjoyed the restaurant, and the breakfasts were amazing.
We made such lovely memories here with our son-he absolutely loved the pool, and I loved spending time at the spa and saunas. We just enjoyed our stay there so much, thank you Langham!”

“What a hidden gem in Chicago. I had the opportunity to photograph a wedding here and I loved the exposed brick and timber loft. A modern yet industrial space that can fit a variety of vibes (as you choose the decor!)

The loft feels spacious as everyone transitioned from room to room between the ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner. The high ceiling just gives your guests and your photos space to breath.

As a photographer: the space allowed me to move around and not feel cramped while taking photos.

Location is great. The couple got ready at a downtown hotel along the river and we easily made it to Venue West. Along the way I chose a couple of photogenic spots for their portraits.”

“I had a work meeting here last week and it was lovely! The light brunch they served was made by the in house chef, and it was artfully presented and delicious, and gave such luxury vibes. The stained glass in the house is amazing, and all the rooms I toured were restored beautifully to be historically accurate yet also functional for co-working and hosting events. Will definitely be exploring co-working at this space!!”
